I am currently going thru divorce. Have been seperated from my husband for almost 2 yrs. We are just waiting on court date. My bf is active duty in the USAF. If I were to get pregnant before divorce is final, would bf get into trbl with military?? He's been in it for 8 yrs and plans to retire(SSGT). We will take precautions if he would get into trbl, but if not, we would like to start a family together. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE. I'm almost 27 and bf is 26.

Does anyone have any knowledge about this rating? I know that you have to take the DLAB test and do well on it, but I was wondering what exactly you'd be doing once you finished the testing and training. Are you going to be translating the language 10% of your time and cleaning toilets the rest? Needless to say, that wouldn't appeal to me. Any information is GREATLY appreciated. There's not much about it on the web. Thanks very much.

My sister and I were both in the army and she thinks that women should be allowed to join the grunts. My older brother who is a commander in the Navy thinks it a bad idea. Women test better, shoot as good if not better then their male counter parts. On the other hand they are less physically capable then men and aren't as will powered when it comes to dealing with shell shock as men. People say that it doesn’t matter because you just have to shoot the person not bench press him. on the other hand you have to be the best of the best and with the pt lower for women than men how you can you not justify some new recruit during boot saying he will do only 19 push ups because the girl next to him only has to do 19. The army found out if you have the same pt for men and women that more women would drop out of boot and we would have fewer women in the services. What are your thoughts?

If you are in the Army and are passing an officer but both hands are encumbered, do you still render the greeting of the day? Does he respond to your greeting with a salute? Are there any rules that dictate how to handle this situation?

Democratic Sen. John Kerry said, "While we've been bogged down in Iraq where there were no weapons of mass destruction, a madman has apparently tested the ultimate weapon of mass destruction." (Yahoo)

So what, if we act against N. Korea all the democrats will throw a hissy fit, but if we dont they start saying that the presidency ignored it? Its just like a democrat to b**** and moan when nothings done and continue to b and moan when something is...

Didn't N. Korea just test a uranium bomb?

What is the difference?

The Bush administration doesn't want Iran to have nukes.-- N. Korea to have nukes or any other, as they define it, country that is a part of Bush labeled "axis of evil"
But I wonder what the administration would think if they knew that many other countries are also including the United States within that very same axis.
I often wonder when these other powers will start insisting that the U.S. open her war arsenal also.

In the interim, just who has say on nuke testing? Does the US have the only say? Should they have the final say?

It just looks to me that other countries just follow behind. the U.S. because they know the US likes war and fighting.etc. It just looks like other countries, our 'friends' are just sitting back, letting the U.S. do all of the fighting, all the while bringing the carrion of her soldiers,
home,
in wooden boxes.
draped in flags
We're just being used.
Yeah, we need nukes. We need them because our manpower is slowly dwindling....

For my Technical writing class at New Mexico State University, I have to write a letter to congress about what we should do about the war in Iraq. My letter can not have anything to do with my opinion or biases. I would like to know what others think about the situation and what should be done.

If the British officers had led US men into Vietnam and shown them how to fight properly as a strategic army, then they would have won the war. But instead, no, they just...........we all know the outcome........i needn't go on :-(
