Should we stand by and let anyone who wants to come over here and attack us?

I am a veteran of Afghanistan and iI am tried of all these people saying that we should not have gone over there. If we did not do something about it everyone whod think that they could come over here and take over our country.

Any country or fanatical group that attacks this country should understand and be prepared for the full force of the only superpower left in the world to rain down on them.

You want to attack us then be prepared to be obliterated.

And as for Pauline, da hal & mizzchellecy...2 things. No doubt you would have joined Chamberlin in his believing that Hitler signing a piece of paper guareented "Peace in our time" and then only weeks later Hitler attacks Britian. No doubt you'll have to look that up to understand my comment. And before you start potificating about how wrong it is for the US to be in Iraq or Afghanistan I suggest you get off your a**, go over to the middle east and see how the people, other than in major cities like Kuwait City, still live in the 14th century. Go there, talk with the people on the street and gain some understanding that they either want the freedoms we enjoy or they want the US and all of Europe eliminated because they hate our culture and the freedoms we have. And remember, they have but one belief...that you as an infidel (non-believer) must either convert to Islam or die.

That's one thing I don't understand about most people...we may have gone to iraq with false information, but we're there and are making progress..Sadam can't kill anymore of his people..is that not good enough?What do people in America who are against all wars want?Did they want us to send osama a fruit basket with a nice little card asking him not to harm oour people??If North Korea actually fires a nuke are we suppose to hide under our dining room table??Im also tired of people saying why can a few countries have nukes and not the rest....Can North Korea be trusted??Would you give a dummy a loaded gun and let wave around you??Thanks for your service!

absolutely not. If we are attacked then whoever did so had better be ready to face the consequences of doing so. It is time that America quit letting others walk all over her. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your service to this great county.

Yep, pacifism is immoral. 1 psyco with a knife could wipe out an entire city of pacifists if he was so inclined. Violence is very necessary when facing people who have no problems with using violence themselves.

Afghanistan was a worthy cause, the Taliban deserved to be deystroyed! Afghanistan was a terrorist paradise. OBL and his cronies were there and they needed to be deystroyed.

we should attack anybody who tries to attack us, sure. but, there is no evidence whatsoever that 9/11 was caused by the taliban, saddam hussein, or even osama bin laden.

however, there is a ton of evidence that the taking of afghanistan was to build a pipeline to iraq to steal all their oil, and that bin laden is far more likely to be hiding in pakistan, not afghanistan.

I think america needs to keep it's obese ugly nose out of other countries business. America is the invader; the aggressor. America has no right to invade other countries because they think that country is wrong. Just because you are more powerful doesn't mean you're right.
