no one discovered the united sates of america. It was formed when the Constitution was signed. Did you mean to ask who discoverd the Americas. It is believed to be Christopher Columbus.

This question is wrong on a number of levels.
First, the US was not in existence, perhaps you mean the western hemisphere?
Secondly, 'discovered' is probably the wrong term to use, but apt nonetheless. Christopher Columbus discovered this land mass for the Occidental World, the West, Europe.

The aboriginals did not discover it in the way that migrating birds did not discover it, they had no concept that a world beyond did and could exist.

The Americas were not discovered by Christopher Columbus. All he did was link Eurpoe to what they thought was a new world. People (became Native Americans) had cross many years before so he in a sense didn't discover anything.

USA was discovered when we decided that Britain was a ***** and was pushing us too much in taxes and etc... So we fought and won and signed the constitution that we werent going to be like the people who oppressed us... Hence USA wasnt discovered, it was created

The America's were discovered by Asians and Europeans crossing the Ice Bridge from Russia to Aslaska (Bering Sea)...

Depends... Vikings... Columbus... Egyptians.... Asians.... Aliens... The only ones that did anything useful were the Europeans Then the colonies, when they finely gained independence' grew the land into the most powerful, freest, best nation on the planet.

that is when the USA was born (there was no USA before then), they would have been the 1st to discover it
