Can anyone offer a logical defense of suicide bombing civilians or any other terrorism tactic?

Bush and Blair have both, in the past, exaggerated or distorted intelligence for their own benefit.

The current terror alert in London could be another example where flimsy facts have been exaggerated out of all proportion for polical ends.

It has certainly taken Iraq and Lebanon off the front pages and created another round of anti-muslim feelings around the world.

The whole event could have been stage managed to increase home support for Bush/Blair's unpopular wars and give Israel a cover increase military activity in Lebanon.

The nervousness created in the world by the London reports, provides Israel with a golden opportunity to sunstantially raise the stakes in Lebanon with little chance of cricism from the rest of the world.

This opportunity is unlikely to be missed and we could see a major incursion into sourthen Lebanon including a massive ground attack, possibly this weekend.

Could intelligence have been exaggerated and manipluated like this in todays world?

I know someone who want to enlist(not me) but he is a high school drop out he been to jail in his criminal records will show he has been in trouble with the police (felonys). He has no diploma or ged. What are his chances in ever entering the military? He want to join the MARINES. let me make you a small profile about him.

He has no diploma or GED.
He has been to jail for drugs and i think robbery.
He is untrust worthy.
He has been caught in a school a doesnt to to with marijuana.
He doesnt know how to do MATH.
and i learned to serve in the military you have to be smart.
He has worked in four jobs and he quitted.
wouldnt that mean he cant handle in being in the marines or any service?
And he is joing the marines cause he cant handle hard work.
What are his chances in even making it in the marines or any service.

And if he was to lie to a recruiter before he goes to the MEPs about his criminal records what will happen to him.

I was wondering I know someone that wants to enlist in the Marines. This person wants to enlist in the marines but he has been to jail alots of time he has no high school deploma he has quited his jobs. all 4 of them. Do you think a RECRUITER would send him to the MEPs in Los Angelas?

Canada has a great history as both a strong offensive military, and a peacekeeping military. I think instead of helping the Americans occupy countries, Canada should become elite peacekeepers/nation builders & the world leader in natural disaster search & rescue. By doing that I believe Canada would become a passive world leader, helping trade, and business. If we give our assitance to the civil fractions of countries in Kaos. Giving the people the option to call us in for backup should they eventually need our support, Canada would be more successful in their missions. Currently we're in Afganistan fighting the terrorists, but at the same time policing the drug trade, making poor civilians detest us. That makes it easier for the terrorists to convert more civilians into terrorist fighters. Occupying never works. Look at the States...

why should we (the united states)always be the ones to "make the peace" to "help the less fortunate" when were in debt up to our eyeballs and cant make peace within our own country or even help our own homeless, hungery, hurt, etc... why is it that we always help when there is a sunami, tornado, or natural desaster, and the country we are helping continually ask for more and more money proceeding to get mad when we dont deliver or insult us afterwards, even when we remove the debt owed to us entirely. Why when we have a natural desaster like the floods in new orleans that no one comes to our aid "let america help themselves" ..... i say im sick of it ...no more bring our troups home let the other countrys who are so "high and mighty" help them get on there feet .... let them be bombed attacked insulted and defiled for once see how they like it.
am I the only one who feels this way? am I just selfish for wanting my husband home now its been more than a year already...

My marine left for bootcamp 19 days ago, Ive wrote him every day!! but i just got a letter from him yesterday saying he still hasent got any of my letters! I am 100% sure i mailed them to the right address! How long does it take before they distribute letters? Are they allowed to hold his letters???

According to liberals we are there for oil. Even though we have not taken a drop of Iraqi oil.
According to liberals we are there because bush lied to us. Even though we found WMD.
According to liberals we need to be in Afghanistan looking for Osama Don get me wrong that would be great. But what would that accomplish.
According to liberals we are only acting as terrorists magnets. There absolutely right, the more who come, the more they spend money, the more we kill, the more we capture, the more we understand how they work, the more we can break down there operations.

Now don’t get me wrong I disagree with bush a lot, but if were not going be able to start war with Iran and Syria (because of the liberals), this is the next best thing right?

So we are in Iraq to fight our enemy. So what the damn problem?
