I just finished reading the book "Nam". I couldn't put it down. My father-in-law fought, and I have heard some stories here and there, but very very little from him. The only stories he has told me were after he was back in the states, maybe after getting his Purple Heart, I'm not sure. Anyway, in your opinion is this something I can ask him questions about, or is just too much? I am very interested in Nam, and some time would like to try and find some of his buddies, but again, I don't know if that would be too much for him. What do you guys think, someone who has been in his shoes and can tell me honestly. The last thing I want to do is hurt him. Thanks!

He's a war hungry president and I think his intentions are to send U.S. troops to Israel before he gets out of office. I heard a press conference where he was addressing the issue live on TV. If we go over there folks, it's nothing like Iraq it's worse. Read a article where over 150 rocket missiles where launched in one day. Tell me if it's not as dangerous as Iraq and about that death toll in Iraq. That would be easily totaled up very quickly if we were to go to Israel and support the war over there.

Israel still has thousands of Lebanese and palastinians held in dungeons without trial . So big deal a couple of Israeli soldiers are captured in anticipation of a prisoner transfer deal .Something that has occurred on a number of occasions. To show how tough you are you kill hundreds of kids. Without the US you would be forced to behave like the tiny country that you are

My husband wants to join the navy. He has a daughter from a previous relationship (wasn't married). He pays child support but the mother has 100% custody. The recruiter tried to tell us that because he pays child support, that makes her a dependant of his and he can't join the navy!!! What?? Is this true? The child is the mother's dependant because she claims the child on her tax return every year, not him. Is this accurate? Please help!!!

My daughter has been asked to attend the USMC 'birthday ball' in November 2006. Her date/escort is wearing his USMC dress blues. What color dress do you suggest she wear? We were thinking possibly the scarlet red of the uniform pants strip or a soft gold. It is very formal and she wants to wear long gloves as well.

The global war on terror as called by G. Busch
Is a physical and ideological war. But I’ve seen that governments are try to fight an ideological war attacking only the physical aspect of it.
Wouldn’t be a better strategy to fight and or change the international politics and actions that have caused so much hate towards world super powers?
