We already know the answer and I will share it with you. The State and country of Israel was formed out of land in the Palestine by UN Resolution in 1947. If you check the United Nations Membership for 1947, you will have your answer. Was it morally correct to return the Jews to Palestine after several hundred years of absence? Maybe and maybe not. The fact is that it was a political move, and the land was taken from the Palestinians. It would be similar to the UN creating a resolution that returned the South West US to Mexico after our inhabiting it for 230 years. However after almost sixty years, the state of Israel is not going anywhere, and the concept af destroying it just makes the Israeli's more resolute in their defense. The idea of removing them forever is logistical and moral nonsense.
The real solution is to work out an agreement that returns the occupied lands outside of the original borders and establishes a buffer zone around Israel. Israel has a strong economy and could be a great asset to the middle east, if this basic hatred could be overcome by some sensible leaders. The support of the terrorists by the fanatical Religious regimes must come to an end, or the Arab peoples of the middle east will continue to suffer and live well below the norms of the rest of the world. Just because the middle east has oil, is no reason to occupy the countries the west is currently in. All goods and services are the property of the people who reside in the countries that have them. Once we realize that they must sell them to have an economy, then we let them do their thing in regards to the ownership of oil and such.

What nonesense! Which land does Israel occupy? Israel was re-established in 1948 in the land that it had a country on centuries before, when the Romans kicked Jews out and renamed the land Palestine. Israel was a country centuries before Muhammed wore his diapers.
The Israel-Palestinian conflict has never been about a state for the Palestinians. There has never been any biblical, historical, or factual basis for a Palestinian state. Between 1948 and 1967, when Gaza was under Egyptian rule, and Judea and Sumeria (including East Jerusalem) was under Jordanian rule, NEVER ONCE was there an effort to create a Palestinian state. It was only after Israel reunited Jerusalem after winning the war in 1967, that the Arabs were up in arms. All this time they thought that they could crush Israel, and the trouble will be done; they could stop Israel from re-establishing its kingdom (a sovereignty that IS backed by biblical, historical, and factual basis).
Even before Israel was re-established in 1948, the U.N. put out 2 proposals to split the lands, giving the vast majority to Arabs (even though there is absolutely no reason to do so). The Jews agreed. The Arabs rejected. Israel was re-established on May 14, 1948, and a hours later, 5 Muslim nations attacked it. Israel won, and will continue to win.
In reality, despite continued great odds, Israel has been able to defend itself time and time again. Israel is here to stay!
To the credit of the Palestinian PR/propoganda machine, they have convinced the world to create something out of nothing, with absolutely no basis to do so. All this time, people in Israel have been naive in believing that the Palestinians genuinely do want peace, and would do anything it can to rid its people of the terrorist element. We clearly see that this is not going to happen. Israel is certainly to blame for sitting on the fence rather than being proactive in its PR to the world.
Those who believe that once a Palestinian state will be created, education of hate by the PA Authority would stop; systematic preaching of hatred of Israel, Israelis, Jews, the Western world and culture would stop; terrorism would stop; suicide bombers would stop; are living a fantasy.
The Palestinians prove it time and time again; they never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. The continued terrorism against Israel is not going to stop; not now; not any time in the next several generations UNTIL systematic change in the Muslim mind and culture would, by miracle (yet to happen), occurs.

"Who let Hitler take control of German society?". If you put a blame on whole human race you will be close to fair jugment but still you will be wrong. You shouldnt be worry that much to punish the gilty but I think we all should focus how to rid off their and somehow at least a little our mistakes and prevent them in future. Jews and Lebanon have some wrights to hate each other and they are still not enough smart and righteos to settle their problems by agreement and collaboration (I am still hearing only about they wish to start again, more often from Hesbollah). Both seems proud that much that they can missed the time when they reach Hell. The existence of Palestine after Second World War was a creation of HISTORY and Western Countries governments are not so happy to rapair their precursors mistakes. Jews were taken out from Europe teritory at least from one strong reason - not to let history repeat. But taking someones teritory without repaiment is somehow a robery. Simple help and care of Lebanon citizens should be much for them and almost no effort from organizations claiming to exist for better future and aid to democracy. Jews should give their hand in helping too. They could prove they are worth something. Lastly in my country everyone wants to find gilties from past. It doesnt matter for them that IT WAS 20 YERS AGO and most of proves and evidences were lost, faked or are uncomplite. They forget we have more dramatic problems now like high unemployment and low and lowering life standart. Most of people in my age fly away to work in European countries. My country looks lastly like "old men house". Everything is screwing up and if i didnt be so lucky I would fall and become criminalist long time ago.

It isn't clear what lands you refer to. The 1948 lands were not and are not illegal. The 1967 borders have been accepted internationally.
The occupation is another story. Israel was attacked; but the right of self-defense does not extend to indefinite occupation.
How to resolve that? Well, it was almost resolved at Oslo, and then Arafat wimped out, worried that peace might not be to the advantage of someone or something (his criminal rackets, stealing foreign aid? who knows.)
What a pity. I heard Clinton speak afterwards; he was genuinely broken hearted.

Time and Democracy will solve all these problems. The Israeli Government is a democratically elected one...one Israeli, one vote.....notice I don't say, one Jew, one vote. There are many hundreds of thousands of Arab Israelis. The Arab Israelis are reproducing faster than the jewish israelis. Therefore, within a generation or so, there will be more Arabs in Israel than Jews.
On the other hand, we may see apartheid (such a good German word) bloom in the country to keep the Jews in power.

They are (currently) only occupying their own land.
However when attacked, they have ventured into other countries. Wouldn't you?
I have grown to believe that the creation of the state of Israel after WW2 was not the wisest decision nor do I agree with all of their military or political decisions/actions.
However I can not condone attacks from either Lebanon or Palestine.

Israel came into existance in 1948.
The Balfour Declaration defined the right for Israelis to reclaim Palestine as their own. I'll bet Woodrow Wilson?

No , why don't we ask ourselves, how peaceful was this part of the world before Israel came to be? If that part of the world is not fighting for this, they are fighting for that. It has nothing to do with the land.

What are you talking about? The UN gave the Jews Israel in 1948. So, to answer your question, the UN did when it did not consult the Arabs back in 1948.

You're pathetic. The biblical references to the Jewish homeland predate Islam. The "occupation" you refer to is the creation of the concept of a "Palestinian" people about 20 years ago. These refuse that no Arab country wanted were created from nothing and that is what they are good for; nothing.
