The reason for being in Iraq is to help clear up the chaos created by the overthrow of Saddam and his regime. The haste with which that was embarked upon was highly suspect.
I object to the statement you made under Additional Details. It serves no purpose but to foster violence and hatred.

I agree with u but there r also other reasons one of them is controlling the oil in this area as Iraq is very rich in oil and the other fortunes that u.s.a hopes to control and having a central military location as u said also the American economy was in a very bad condition and the victory in war was needed to recover there was no nuclear weapons in the middle east as America pretended and Israel has the best nuclear weapons in this area

I disagre, we didn't need a military position in Iraq. We already had a military presense in Saudi Arabia, in Qatar, and other nearby countries.
I think that we are there for (1) the oil, and (2) George Bush really thought the people of Iraq would welcome us with open arms, throw flowers at the feet of our soldiers, and establish democracy with joy.. G. Bush imagined that Iraq would be the model of ushering peace and democracy throughout the arab world. That's what he told us, we could at least expect that he believed it.

Actually, I believe we have a major military base in Kuwait, that is permanently located there and by the request of the Kuwaiti people. In fact, most workers in Kuwait are American, as the Kuwaiti people all share their revenue from their oil profits, leaving them all with enough money that they don't have to work, so they import workers.

I suppose so. I think it is just part of the military build up to attack Iran. We wave troops east Iran in Afghanistan, and no west of Iran in Iraq.

I also think that we are in there for the oil. The president is a greedy son of a ***** and he does not care about other people. I support my country, but not my president. Thank god that we AT LEAST have the freedom to oppose the government. However, I fear we won't be able to much longer.
We are slowly turning into a communist government.

We are in Iraq to deter terrorists from attacking us here in the US. We already have military locations in Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Afghanistan, Turkey and others.

I think it is more a case of Bush wanting all his oil company owning friends to make more money than anything else. You'll all pull out when the oil dries up, and not before.

the u.s. is probably in iraq to control the oil there, because iraq has enough oil to last over 100+ years. but now 50 people are dying every day, and chaos reigns in the country. car bombs explode every day and the country has fallen into sectarian violence. lastly, the U.S. is not going to attack iran, because their military is very big. they have over 50,000 suicide bombers, and 11,000,000 troops ready for action.

We did not need a war for that - Israel is central, Kuwait is central.
