I wore glasses in the infantry for nine years. I was 20/500 - without glasses. If you can correct to 20/20 (or about that) you are in.
If you are serious about the infantry get the laser surgery as soon as you can. Glasses in the infantry is a big pain.

Yes they will, provided your vision is not more than -7.50. You will be issued military glasses (free) during your training, after that, you can wear your own glasses or contacts.

Yes, they will issue you a think brimmed pair (commonly know as BC glasses, the BC= Birth Control, because they are very uinatractive.)
But they are indestrucable.
