the terrorists lost 2 agents and it caused major disruption of services, created fear and paranoia, has driven another wedge between government and muslim citizens, increased hatred within england. personaly I thinkit was a major victory for them and they did not even need to buy explosives or smuggle them onto any planes. not even the purchase of a ticket.

Are you sure? How much fear did it really cause? I read one story quoting some young lady playing with a Gameboy who was all annoyed about having to wait longer in security.
Blowing the planes would've cause much more fear and disruption. Thus, I think this plot was a failure.

Your point is well-thought, though, in that the terrorists' psychological warfare should not be underestimated.

That was the point of all this, not eally hurting planes, causing the fear of hurting planes is scarier for peoples...

I think this "terror" plot was just a scam, to make us accept the Martial Law, it is really near...

However I don't know if they actually had money taken away being the Bush family has been known to bribe politicians.
t's funny how the Bush family has business dealings with people and governments who kill Americans. The people who are the biggest threat to our national security are friends and partners with the Bush's.

What was the alternative? Let them board the planes and kill a bunch of innocent people? As far as driving a wedge between the Muslims and others, if the Muslims would quit trying to kill the "infidels"
we wouldn't have had this problem in the first place.

The only thing that came out of it, is that Blair and Bush are getting the credits and they did not really do anything.
The timing is perfect for both of them.
Some people were arrested, most born in the UK, a certain neighborhood is called a terrorists neighborhood now.
But if you listen to the interviews of their neighbors, colleagues and other people the know the ones being arrested, they tell different things.
The people that are arrested are not allowed to talk in public it seems, they don't have the right to defend themselves, its weird, because in fact terrorists don't lie, they don't call themselves terrorists of course, but they still never deny to hate and destroy the western world for what we done to them, why are we not allowed to hear this?
I think that some stupid British terrorist fighter was kicked out by his wife for being too frustrated about terrorists, sitting in his pub, playing with his warm bottle of beer til it exploded is his face..
So, all they need to find are some more or less Islamic British people that have bottles of beer in their house and its good for Blair and Bush.
