This is a respectful, serious question. What would you do differently? Is there a better way? Thanks.

PS Really - saying how awful Bush is, or how bad the Democrats are, isn't an answer. Any my political leanings aren't the issue.

Now some intelligent genius is going to tell me that its because the Israelis were fighting the Hizbollah and not the Lebanese. This I know already. What I dont understand is that if a neighbouring country of yours started shooting rockets into your cities, not after you but another ethnic group in your country, you would want/expect your military to do something about it?
So i ask 'Why didn't the Lebanon military get involved with the fighting, against Israel?'

Baghdad - Iraqi media Friday reported what was believed to have been the first-ever attack by a female suicide bomber, an attack which targeted joint Iraqi-US forces.

The Iraqi news agency al-Dar cited eyewitnesses as saying the attack took place Wednesday in Maqdadiya, 110 kilometres north-east of Baghdad.

The woman, wearing an explosives belt, approached a joint US-Iraqi forces patrol positioned near a bus stop and blew herself up, the report said.

At least seven were killed and more than another 20 wounded, including civilians and military personnel, al-Dar said. The US and Iraqi military did not specify the number of casualties inflicted upon their forces in this attack.

Eyewitnesses said that joint Iraqi and US forces moved in to seal off the area. It was reported the USA troops were scared half to death and many troops prayed to God. Many of the USA troops wanted to go home.

"Twenty-one former generals and high ranking national security officials have called on United States President George W. Bush to reverse course and embrace a new area of negotiation with Iran, Iraq, and North Korea. In a letter released Thursday, the group told reporters Bush's 'hard line' policies have undermined national security and made America less safe."

They go on to note that Bush's policies have encouraged Iran to develop nuclear weapons, and that even Reagan negotiated with the Soviets.

The CBS poll found that nearly 60% of Americans now think things are going badly for the U.S. in Iraq. That number has continued its rise since early last month.

Just 32 percent of Americans say the U.S. is in control of events in Iraq, while 57 percent think the U.S. is not in control. That's a drastic change in public perceptions since the end of April, when the war was still underway and 71 percent said the U.S. was in control.

Most Americans favor more international involvement in Iraq, with 69 percent saying the United Nations, not the United States, should take the lead in setting up a new Iraqi government. Most americans agree the Iraq war in not going according to plans. 62% of the Americans polled said the war will end up like Vietnam. We will lose.

It is time to realize that God despises violence and despises the ones who engage in it. So, no one kills in the name of Mohamed, Jesus, Allah, Jehovah or, God. They kill because they're ignorant and have not other way of expressing themselves other than violently. We must also remember that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter, so we must abolish oppression ism and uphold education and freedom of speech. Once a man is articulate, educated and, has the right to say whatever his heart bears, he feels he can be heard and the world will listen. Once we do those basic things violence will end and peace will reign

why should we recognize a country which has been stolen by force from palestinian people?.

israel has taken their territory with the help of the USA.

by exemple ,if I steal the USA and I send all US citizen to the everglades in florida (like you did with native american), and USA becomes France with the help of China. Do I have the right to say I am at home?

if you dont get it, here an easier exemple, if I take your bike and I kick the *** of your 6 years old brother , is it mine???

why dont they want recognize palestine as a country?
it is easier for israel to keep his supremacy?.

as long western countries dont set legitim and fair rules, we will continue to have bomb attack in our aircraft.

It is time to wake up, and to anderstand the desperation of the muslim word.

Hezbollah and Lebanon have already broken two of the main points in the treaty formulated only recently by the UN. The Pres. of Lebanon said that HE WOULD NOT disarm Hezbollah as stated in the treaty and Hezbollah is still receiving new supplies of rockets and other weapons from Syria and Iran. They will not surrender their weapons even though the treaty says they must.
What do you think Israel will do? Sit back and wait until Hezbollah has totally rearmed themselves for a new conflict? The so-called UN peace force will be useless...they wouldn't want to get into a shooting war with Hezbollah over UN resolutions. More chaos. More resolutions. Forget about peace. The final result from all this talking and posturing...Israel will go into Lebanon with its full army, nothing held back and they will decimate Hezbollah.

The only clear reason why Israel is in that miss is the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian land . if Israel implement the UN 242 resolution in full there will be an end to the on going wars in the Middle East. Israel up to this day will not tell the world and the Palestinian that it will withdraws from all the land mentioned in UN Resolution. Israel want to keep land that was never part of Israel and this is why Israel will never have a lasting peace with native Palestinian people . A viable Palestine means a viable Israel and no viable Palestine means no viable Israel and wars go on between the two people.
No one could NOT change his mind unless he has no mind.
Occupying other people by force is losing policy in the past and now and has no future.

take time off from my 3 jobs to join her but she said it would be a tight fit in her car. She's never let me ride in her Hummer, but it looks like it might be spacious enough. But I guess it's best that I try to get some overtime to help make the payments on it. Still for some reason, I can't stop worrying if she'll be all right. After all it is quite a long drive to Las Vegas. Do you think I should just hop in my Pacer and follow her?
