i saw in a magazine the picture of a child who have lost all his family because of what israel calls terrorism

Based on personal experience or word from the grapevine, which would be the best area off post?
Factors to consider - safe and quiet residential area, distance to post, military friendly neighborhood/apartment complex.
Any specific apartments in mind?
Positives and negatives for your choice?

Ads for military recuitment have changed a lot since WWII. when i look at a poster of uncle sam asking me to be in the military, i feel a sense of pride and most of all duty for what I believe in. Today, when i see an army ad on TV i want to ride in a tank at 50 mph and blow things up. or drop from a helicpoter on a line (all scenes from the ad). A while ago, I saw an add for a first person shooter video game sponsered by the army that looked no different than counterstrike (they just changed the setting to look like iraq) I never felt a sense of duty or pride. Given the recent alligations of prisoner abuse, rape, assults, murders in Iraq and unethical behavior in other countries as well (especially Japan). Do you think the military is recruiting soldiers based on their desire for action and violence? do you think there is a connection between the recruiting practices and the resulting misconduct at war?

During the Bosnian War, the media made the Serbs to be devils and I am sure they were indeed brutal and were terrible during the Bosnian War, but I never hear anything about the Bosniak (Bosnian Muslims), they are made out to be hopeless victims, now because it was a war, I am sure that the Bosniaks must have done war crimes to against the Serbs or Croats, does anyne know of any? or of any Bosniak being charged with any war crime?

If they agree to hezbollahs terms they would only be causing more problems. If you give in to terrorists they will only demand more, that is how they operate. They prey on the weak and if Israel were to show weakness, they would only demand more. These people have no honor and do not respect the rules of war that is why Israel is setting an example here by showing force and power to these cowards in order to let the terrorists know they will not get what they want and our captured troops honor is worth going to war over. Go Israel, get rid of as many cowards as you can. Do you agree? Or you can share your own opinion.

Why do you think the U.S has allowed the genecide in Darfore? (not sure if thats spelled right sorry) And for those of you who don't know about it, it's a genocide going on in africa, and the deathcount is around 800K people last time I checked. And especially if you realize how easy it would be to end it. The people who are killing ride on camels. They don't have tanks, no helicopters, no tanks. These little b**tards ride around on camels. It would take us almost no effort to stop it. So question is, why don't we?
