How can people look down upon people who fight and die for there countried everyday? Why do these people find themselves better than the people who protect them and everything they hold important to them. Why don't we respect our military, especially when they do so much for us everyday. And especially when the soldiers do nothing to deserve disrespect besides fight for our country. Why do we blame the grunts and not the people who order them to do what they do? Shouldn't if anybody, we blame the president and not the military? I just want to know, what makes some of us look down upon people who do so much for us everyday?

Or should we keep sending more troops to fight for these people? Somilia, needs help, Isreal needs help. The world needs help! Or should we just bring all our troops home and tell the world to fend for themselves? I ask this because I'm a retired Marine and understand what is going on, but i'm tired of the ungrateful people(yes there are plenty of Americans that don't get it) This I understand because we have our share of ungrateful morons. And those I understand because they have it to easy. But what about all you other countries that just want to sit back and let America and England fight for you(France, Germany etc.) You all sit and drink your coffee and talk about these poor people in these countries, but yet you do nothing! Other than say let's just talk to them. (UN Morons) It don't work! So as a Marine with 30 years, I just say bring our troops home and say heck with the world. SEE HOW STUPID THAT SOUNDS! To my brothers in arms, GOD BLESS, WE SUPPORT YOU! Semper Fi.

Iranian scientists were present during the launch of NK's missile a few weeks ago. Would NK be insane enough to let Iran have a nuke? If the Israelies crush Huzboala, Iran may get radical, IMO.

I heard solider's have their food and clothing deducted from their pay each month. Then I heard that only their food is deducted and any uniforms they are required to have must be purchased by the solider right down to their underwear. Is any of this true? I think this stinks! The government is asking them to die for their country, but we'll take out the food you ate from your pay. Stup!

The Las Vegas City Council passed an ordinance Wednesday that bans providing food or meals to the indigent for free or a nominal fee in parks. America's policy of invading countrys on the basis of harbouring terrorists has given leave for the likes of Israel to be aggressive towards its neighbours. It has also led to Russia's Chechen conflict being vindicated which it shouldn't. And Finally,
* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse
* 7 have been arrested for fraud
* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at
least 2 businesses
* 3 have done time for assault
* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
* 84 have been arrested for drunkdriving in the last year. Yea you sure guessed it-It's the 535 members of the United States Congress.
The same group
that crank out hundreds of new laws each year

and told me he is not allowed to say what is going on. I think at lease the families should know.
He did tell me what happened when he got back ...to some guys that was on his ship.
One young guy committed suicide, and other had a heart attack one year before retirement.
I ask him what was happening over there from his eye view and He said it was confidential.

My question is… Don't we as Americans have the right to know everything that is happening if we at have family in the service?

I hope this is not a stupid question but it really makes me upset that he will not tell me what is going on. I mean there is more then what the media is saying...

My dad also was in the army 20yrs...WW2 and Korea -Salute-

U.S. war commanders think some level of American forces will be needed in Iraq until 2016 and those forces will receive continued support from the vast majority of Iraqis.

At the tactical level, the U.S. is getting better at detecting deadly improvised explosive devices (IEDs), especially using unmanned spy planes. But the enemy is growing more sophisticated. A raid on an IED factory earlier this year netted two bomb-makers who hold master's degrees in chemistry and physics -- from U.S. colleges.

At the current rate that means BushCo will kill over 10,000 American soldiers.

They are the first demonstration that America's disregard for international law and cowboy style military intervention is contagious. Only a matter of time before some country tries genocide on the basis of "The American Excuse" for hunting down terrorists.
