The Air Force successfully launched an unarmed intercontinental ballistic missile early Thursday.

The Minuteman III dummy warheads were fired at 3:14 a.m. and traveled about 4,200 miles before hitting a water target in the Marshall Islands.

The launch was delayed by a day because of a power outage at a radar facility that handles flights in and out of Southern California. The purpose is to test the defense system's reliability and accuracy.

They Need To Be Launching Them At Random,And They Don't Need To Be Targeting Pacific Islands With Em Either,They Need To Be Repeating The Search For Saddam Tactics They Were Using At The Beginning Of This Iraqi Action,But The Names Being Changed On Them Warheads...Theres Plenty Of Em To Hunt Down,What Better way To Hunt?

Not that I'm encouraging Iran to have long range missiles, but can someone explain (without self righteous propaganda BS) why it's OK for the US to conduct these launches but wrong for anyone else to do it? Just because you did it first and now think that you can lay down the law for everyone else?
