simply reading the answers one must be sad. Either nobody has the right to defend oneself, other that US and Israel, or Bush knows only the name of one country. The excuse: Hizbola terrorism. the excuse before: Hamas terrorism. The excuse before: Arafat terrorism. The excuse before: Saddam terrorism. The excuse before: taliban terrorism. The excuse before: "a land without people for a people without land" (apart from the 230000 palestinians stolen and expulsed). A land without people! so without terrorists? Who was the first terrorist then? The excuse before: Sitting Bull terrorism.
lets simply pray and help the true defenceless people, other than the fat rich ones in the US TV. God will say who was the terrorist.

I think Israel is doing a fine job. Lebanon is a valid target, since they actively aid, arm, and offer sanctuary to a known terrorist organization.

Israel started out light, destroying buildings they knew were a) empty at the time, and b) hezbollah owned. They have escalated their attacks since they are not getting their soldiers back. They will no doubt continue to escalate until either a) hezbollah gives up their hostages, or b) Lebanon gets tired of it and forces hezbollah to give them up.

Lebanon doesn't have to defend themselves, just get rid of hezbollah.

If you willingly harbor and help someone that commits a crime, then you are an accessory both before and after the fact, and that means you are equally guilty. I feel sorry for the civilians in Lebanon that get caught in the crossfire, but it is their government's responsibility to keep them safe. If they didn't support hezbollah, this wouldn't be happening to them. Quite simple, actually.

I feel that Israel is asking for a Middle Eastern WAr becasue they attacked Palestine and are now attacking Lebanon. Lebanon should just surrender and give up the two soldiers teh Israelis want back.

The Israeli army has every right to defend itself and it's people. Not only do they have the right, they have the obligation to. If Lebanon wants to keep control of its land, the best thing for them to do is support the Israelis. They don't have to help fight, just let them know they support them and wont get in the way.

War is never good. But, I support Israel's decision to bomb the Hezbollah terror network in Lebanon. I hope other governemnts see this and realize that they have responsibility to stop similar groups in their countries. I am sorry for all casualties, innocent or not. I hope the altercation ends soon and Israel prevails.

As long as Israel is really only attacking Hezbollah, and not Lebanon itself, I support them. If they try to conquer the whole country they will be in the wrong.

Its sad that civilians are caught in the cross fire. But at the same time I believe Isreal has every right to attempt to eliminate Hezballah at all cost.
