Do "YOU" intend to become personally involved in taking Iran down? Or are you only planning to watch the whole thing on your TV?

Iran is a lot tougher nut then it appears. If we get into a war with Iran, that may do it for America's leadership role in the world. The rest of the World's leaders are now beginning to look at us like we are road kill.
The final blow was Bush's inability to see the fighting in and around Israel as his job to use the good offices of the United States to solve the current war in Lebanon through diplomacy.
No one is buying Bush's words and ideas anymore. And in reality, Bush no longer has a legitimate mandate to talk to the Middle East as a neutral player.
Bush has cashed all his chips hoping to pull a win out of Iraq, and it is not working. Bush may decide that it is Iran that has to be dealt with now and not Iraq.
But, Iran has some teeth. They have very strong ties in the Middle East, and one thing every Country in the Middle East can agree on is their mutual hatred of Israel.
Iran may just be the Country willing to take the chance of terrible destruction to get one good blow in against Israel.

I would say Hell Yeah, but it's silly to believe it'd solve anything. A war with Iran would be extremely costly in lives and cash. We would have to kill millions just to invade and the Iranians would reek havoc on all American interest though out the world i.e Iraq, Afghanistan and maybe places in Africa too. Plus we'd only create more hatred towards America and more terrorist.

We need to take out the nut in charge of Iran, then when they elect another nut we need to take him, and continue the process untill all the nuts are gone. You would think that will all the technology in this world we could create a picture of these clowns in a gay orgie or something, then their own people would kill them. because that is a death penalty.

Spoken like a true idiot. Iran may have nuclear capabilities...which they WOULD use on our allies...Taiwan or Japan. China has been aching to go to war with they for ages....if Iran were to go after one of them, China would too. Russia would ally itself with China and we'd ally ourselves with Taiwan or Japan....world war three. Nuclear weapons are big **** to fool with. Iran is not a nation to mess with. Iran is crazy enough to use weapons....we are too. We don't need to put ourselves in a position for the world to hate us more. Go to war with Iran? Holy crap, no way.

Iran needs to be made incapable of developing nukes. That's all. There's no need to invade, really. Just need to bomb their infrastructure, dig in ground forcews along their border, and launch the occasional incurssion to assassinate their leadership.

well iran is a problem theres no way around that but we are alread thinned out in troops i don't think we can take anymore fighting. plus afghanistan iraq and iran no wonder arabs hate us.

I think we need to take down Israel, they're going too far. 300 deaths and only about 25 were non-civilian so far.
Nuke Israel.
