My boyfriend recently lost his drivers liscence due to a major traffic violation. He has been planning on joining the army, will this keep him from joining? Or have any other negative ramifications?

depends on what that traffic violation was, if it was DUI, yes the army does not tolerate drinking and driving it is an offense that can keep him out. if it's just a NORMAL traffic violation like driving too fast that can also result in loss of license then no it won't keep him out of the military, however he won't be able to drive any military vehicle. now if the MOS he has chosen to enter requires he learn to drive a specific vehicle before graduation, then his loss of license can affect his entry.

It depends on the reasons behind him losing his license. If it was for something like a DUI, it possibly could affect his enlistment. If it was for something like not showing up for court or a wreck it might not. The only way to find out is to go see the recruiter and ask. And in the end, if he's good enough to get in the Army (otherwise) and they really want him... then things can be gotten around...

It depends on why he lost his liscence and what his contract says. If he has a job that requires him to have one, he will not be able to go to school, he will have to take a different job. And if the reason he lost his liscence is bad enough, they will not let him ship because he will be considered morally disqualified or something like that.

pahahahaha properly, right here in TX, youd ought to take position in court and if the officer doesnt instruct, you dont ought to pay the cost ticket or something and it receives taken off your record. I dont imagine youll lose your license for that in any respect. youd ought to do 25-40 over.
