There's an abandoned stage on Governors Island and I'm trying to find out who performed there. Did the base have a theater company? Was it for high school kids? Did shows from NYC come to the island?

I've asked lots of people this question and I always get different responses. I'll try and be as detailed as possible.
I have allergy-induced asthma, which means that when my allergies go off, I have trouble breathing. It's not that I CAN'T breath, its just that I have to breath deeper. I do not use an inhaler, but I do take drugs allegra and mucinex sometimes. They make it easier to breath, but sometimes I'll forget to take them and on those days I can still manage. I have never had an asthma attack.
My recruiter said that asthma past age 13 is an automatic DQ, but since I do not use an inhaler, the Army won't call my condition "asthma" and instead refer to it as "allergies". I should clarify that I have sporadicly used inhalers in the past, but I always hated using them so I quit. I don't think I've used an inhaler since I turned 13, but to be honest its been so long I can't remember. What do you think the chances of me getting in are?

I am specifically asking about the type issued to the military and law enforcement. The type of tinted windows I have are designed to reflect the heat from outdoors so that it doesn't get so hot inside. Since this type of binocular picks up and "sees" the heat coming from living beings and the windows reflect it back outside, would night vision goggles be able to see inside my home?

Is the war that should be fought in Afghanastan vs. the war that Bush failed policies created in Iraq, clouded peoples minds about the original Taliban and Al Qaeda network of Osama bin Laden, rather than the Zarqawi led al-Qaeda movement, since enacting the Bush doctrine?
Zarqawi should be dead, so should Osama bin Laden and the 11 previoulsy most wanted, still not captured or killed that Bush and the DOD presented on their deck of cards, of forgotten years, since the wars began; Wow, it's amazing: do people here in the U.S. really forget with propaganda flying in their face instead of human carnage, who attacked AMERICA?

The Arabs do a good job of running the restaurant but I notice everytime the Marines go in to eat they ( Meaning the Arabs ) are extra nice to the Marines. ( They give the Marines extra food ) This is what happens after the Arabs are showing kindness to the Marines. The Marines always sit at their table with their heads down and then their shoulders start to heave up and down. The tears start to flow and their mouth starts to tremble. Then the Marines yell out "I'm so god awful ashamed to have served in Iraq and hurt those poor innocent Iraqi people!! For God Sakes!! Forgive me"!!! When the owner of the restaurant walked over to put his kind hand on the big burly Marines back the Marines ( All three of them ) went to their knees and begged for forgiveness for doing dastardly things in Iraq. The owner of the restaurant ( Who is from Iraq ) said he forgave the Marines and wished them well. This made the Marines vow to quit the Marines and join in all anti war protests in the area.

I went aboard Selfridge ANG Base to eat breakfast at the Officers club and as I drove through the Main gate they had a young Marine standing out in front shaking like a leaf in the wind and passing wind looking scared to death. I said "What's the matter ol brave trooper?". He replied "More troops were killed last night and we got the Big Daddy in Iraq but they are still kicking our butts day in and day out". With that remark his mouth started to tremble and he said softly "I am so scared". After that remark I drove on through the gate. Of course I will be nice to that young man. On the way out I brought him a Crow sandwich to eat. It seems that's the only thing the military can eat now is "Crow". They will be eating alot of crow in the next few years.

While the news is quick to point out the deaths of American soldiers in Iraq, it fails to tell us the good things( Ha Ha! The Good things! What Good Things? )... that the coalition is doing in Iraq and also how many insurgents or terrorists have been killed in Iraq.( Hey !! We killed more of the enemy in Vietnam than they killed of us but we still lost )... If American troops are brought home to soon all hell is going to break loose in Iraq and Afghanistan.Terrorism needs to be defeated period.Support our troops in Iraq..( Note:...So I say to you....Bring the troops home. Who really cares if all hell breaks loose...Let it happen because I don't care. The Troops lives are more important. So let's bring the troops home now.

I know this is kind of old news, but are there any other veterans out there besides me that are pissed off and scared sh!tless at the same time.

Is it true that all we can really do is wait to see if our credit gets screwed up or our lives.

I feel very cheated. SOMEONE above that man had to have told him, 'yeah, take that crap home with you.......there's just too much to do during the work day.'

Not that it would help much if anyone did take the fall, but it would definitely make me feel better. In every branch of the military are we not taught from practically day one to take responsibility for our actions?

Has anyone taken responsibility?

And is the most anti terrorist in the world... WHEN...

For years many Americans donated money to to the IRA (an organisation that has kiiled many people in Britian)

The CIA original funded Osama Bin Laden. The first nation to put an arrest warant against him was Libya..

They have not supported the Russians against terrorism in Checnya and people that massacred 800 children in a school.

They fough a war to help terrorist with Bin Laden links in Serbia (KLA) who even now are trying to make parts of Macedonia ans Serbia part of Greater Albania.

They had assinated a legal head of government in Chile, and helped the dictator Pinochet stay in power

And have attempted to assasinate many other legitimate heads of state.

They miltary actions have adopted terror style tatics such as carpet bombing in Vietam and Cambodia..

And often bomb wrong targets such as bomb shelters in Iraq, medical fatories in Sudan, Chinese embassies in Serbia

I rather kill my enemy in the same manners he/she is fighting me. In that way, I will proof that it is not my technological or weapons that killed or hurted them but my skills and strength. Or else, it sends the wrong signals which will the enemy think that we are not good at ground combat.
