First of all, I'm Pakistani, and I find the fact that you said no one cares very offensive. It's because when Pakistan became independent from India, India wanted to fight back so they took over Kashmir, which is a PAKISTANI province, even India agrees to that. So, it's basically conflict over that, and I don't blame India, they want land, every country does.

The confilct between India and pakistan is, like so many conflicts around the world, rooted in religious difference. Such differences are not easily resolved...see Ireland, the Middle East, East Timor, Sri Lanka, and many others.

People do care because both countries ave nuclear weapons are are quite willing to use them.Back in 1998, both countries detonated a tactical nuke as a show of force. It would be nice if they solved their differences but they are slowly starting to go that route.

It is religion, politics, culture, and a myriad of issues bundled into one conflict, they are fundimentally different nations, even though they started out as one.
