My friend just recently joined the Army and left for boot camp this week. Before he left he told me he requested to be shipped over seas to Iraq and that his request has been granted.
He was saposed to come home for a week in October after boot camp, before being sent to another base. but he told me that he won't be able to come home for that week now that his request to go to Iraq is granted.
Is there a way you can go see a solider after boot camp if they can't come home?

I actually read the report and it seems to say the exact opposite of what certain people are claiming. It seems some people are either lying or there is another part I did'nt see, please explain. Any statements will be verified.

Here is the twist, you are in the military serving on active duty. So are you a professional until the end or do you drop it all and try to do everything you never knew you wanted to?

Many would agree that killing a busload of soldiers that were on the way to commit genocide is OK. But where do you draw the line?

Well it now seems that Bush didn't lie, as the recently declassified Deulfer report indicates that there were over 500 WMDs found in Iraq which means a couple of things. First this was a just war with a just cause and no ridicules conspiracies and false notions of the real reason of going war. Iraq posed a threat, these weapons could have very easily been used against the Iraqi people, our allies, or even us. It is thought that these weapons were created before 1991 so they don't prove that Iraq had an ongoing WMD program. They do however show Saddam's motives and intentions, because all of the weapons were supposed to be destroyed. These weapons also show that diplomacy and UN inspections did not work at all. The only option for the security of this world was war. So my question is if Bush didn't "lie" how many more people would have died? Innocent people. This just proves the ignorance of the liberals, and their lack to accept the real truth.

The deaths are now; the grief is now. We must therefore decide now if we are being played for patriotic fools by people willing to risk our children in this cause but not their own.

Feingold was alone last year when he called for an 18-month phased withdrawal. Today at least six senators have come around.

Kerry finally has resolved to push for a deadline, as the anti-war movement [and most Democrats] has long demanded.

Democrats have invented a new formulation, to set a date for beginning to withdraw this year. Therefore, instead of arguing with each other over when to withdraw, they are in agreement on when to begin leaving.

Is this progress towards ending the war and seeing our familes come back home soon?

Do the war supporters really know anything at all? We should all dislike the war supporters due to the fact they support a war based on lies and they send young american to their deaths for a worthless cause. Iraq will go down in shame like Vietnam and once again the war supporters will have to eat Crow. How come they never learn?

I know that either the Geneva Convention or the Hague convention says it's illegal to use anything but FMJ ammunition, but given the effectiveness of this new blended metal ammo, shouldn't the law be changed to allow it? Ammunition that can kill quickly and efficiently, even when it strikes an extremity, might be more humane than ammo that has a greater potential to "merely" wound and maim someone for life. It also means a soldier doesn't have to hit someone 5 or 6 times to bring them down, which decreases the danger to the soldier.

Blended Metal info,

I saw one this morning at the Big Boy restaurant. He had a "I support the troops" decal on his SUV. But when I ask him to send his one and only 20 year old son to Iraq his easy going demeanor turned sour. He looked as if he had crap in his mouth. ( Oh Yes! Don't you love those Republicans ) He said "I support the war as long as my children don't have to serve". Then, when he walked away I took the decal off his vehicle. ( I now have four of them ) Those war supporters are amazing aren't they? as long as other people fight their war they are all for it. What Pukes!!

All western countries, especially America, pretend to fight with terrorism. But there many Chechens ran away from court in Russia to UK and USA. And these countries after all what happened with THERE people don't let us punish those bloody bastards who committed the most wild crime in the world (268 children from 5 to 17 were cruelly murder). I mean Beslan. Those who made tens terrorist attacks in Russia. Those who cut heads to the preasoned Russian soldiers. It was truly proved they were sponsored by Al-Queda. So after all they are still free, shame on you West!!!
