Military - June 2006

[Selected]: All categories Politics & Government Military

We have absolutely nothing to fear from North Korea. They will never use nuclear weapons against anybody. Even Kim Jong-Il as crazy as he is would never dare to attack the U.S. If, hypothetically, they did launch a nuclear attach on the U.S or anybody we would retaliate eith nuclear weapons also and completely destroy the country and all things in it. We would destroy their military, government, and all their industry. The only reason they are making nuclear weapons and being so threatening is because they want our aid. North Korea is a very poor country with little industry and very few ways to make any money at all. It's people are starving and it's economy collapsing. Their last option is too frighten the major nations around the world into giving them money so that they will not lose power and actually have a chance at retaining power.

Why do they say Navy wife is the hardest job in the Navy??
I thought it was Army since they can get deployed to IRAQ, and that's not a happy place to go. At least the Navy doesn't go to Iraq.

Is the war in Iraq all about oil because that is all I hear from the left. I talked to my friend Jason about this because it left me very perplexed....The lefts argument makes no sense AT ALL. He made some very good points. If all we wanted was the oil where is the sense in occupying the entire country? It would be much ceeper both pollitically and ecconomicly to just lift the embargo. Why invade Iraq, and take on the largest army in the region over a
difficult supply line, when superior results could be achieved with less risk by simply invading Qatar and the UAE? Why not invade Saudi Arabia? Why not invade Venezuela, for that matter - which would be much, much easier than supporting an army in Iraq? That is why this argument seem pretty stupid to me. I'd like to know what you think (and back it up with facts).

Its a well known fact that the USA has the most Weapons of Mass Destruction on the planet, yet for some reason they feel they should be allowed to keep them while other nations who don't do what the USA want shouldn't be allowed to...

as for Iraq they had weapons that the USA had given them before, that were no where near the deadly scale that the USA have (or North Korea), so what is the USA's fascination with pissing off the world?

just wondering.....

The death toll for American soldiers in Iraq now stands at 2,517. The number of Iraqis who have died as a result of the US occupation is unknown but a study done over a year and a half ago by the British medical journal The Lancet estimated the number of civilian casualties at 80,000 to 100,000. The all poweful puke poor USA should be ashamed.

Should President Bush actually lead ,as President George Washington did, the American forces into Battle? I think it would be a Boost to our soldiers and marines to see George Bush actually doing what he is being paid to do. Do you want to see the troops leave Iraq. Pass this law and they will be home before Airforce one can be refueled. George is NOT going to GO to Iraq and fight.

No matter what, Trump argues, a new Saddam Hussein will eventually take over the country.

The multi-billonaire real estate tycoon and star of NBC's "The Apprentice" said, "I would get out of Iraq as soon as possible consistent with the practicalities of a bad situation."

All western countries, especially America, pretend to fight with terrorism. But there many Chechens ran away from court in Russia to UK and USA. And these countries after all what happened with THERE people don't let us punish those bloody bastards who committed the most wild crime in the world (268 children from 5 to 17 were cruelly murder). I mean Beslan. Those who made tens terrorist attacks in Russia. Those who cut heads to the preasoned Russian soldiers. It was truly proved they were sponsored by Al-Queda. So after all they are still free, shame on you West!!!

It seems that the Islamic world is hell bent on starting WWIII and this is not a joke. If it were up to me I would give Iran an ultimatim, either give up your nuclear ambitions or face total destruction of your country by nuclear attack within 24 hours.
PERIOD. If they continue to play games and the deadline comes to an end then nuke these crazy wacknuts in order to protect the rest of the peace loving world from evil.
It is as simple as that.
