Wars between countries involve territory. Thus, there can be a definative winner if one's troops and or land are conquered. An ideaology cannot be shot, jailed or fought with physically...it can only be conquered by competing ideas. Have we been fed the biggest war propaganda line ever? Like the "war on drugs" or "the war on poverty" there is no end in sight.

The North Korea has now several missiles(nuke) capable of reaching mainland US. The US on the other hand, has deployed ships/submarines to the pacific to shoot down these missiles. Likewise, some are suggesting a preemptive strike. This time it's a real threat, unlike Iraq that we thought has 'weapons of mass destruction'.

I mean guyz do u really care about whats really happening in the world? all i can watch in the news is that someone's pet got kidnapped or someone who can eat 50 burgers as a meal or about a heroic soldier coming back from WAR. do u think heroism is about killing innocent people just for the fun it and hunting them down as if they're animals. i know it all started as a a holy missionary to save the world, but come on its nothing like that. it's all about oil and money, and yeah what the heck why not kill few arabs on the way... but i just wonder, if Bush is such a a dumb murderer why do people still vote for him?

No one forced them to join. It seems that they know about the war when they join and then they want to pick and choose what they do. Our military does not work that way. You become government property until you finish you obligation, retire, or get discharged with less that honorable conditions.
