Legally speaking the "war" in Iraq was never officially declared so it could not officially end, however it lasted about two weeks.

The Iraq war has been over since they found Saddam Hussein! It has been AN OCCUPATION since then!!! There are an average of 600 INSURGENT BOMBINGS A MONTH in Iraq since the beginning of this year!!! The people who we supposedly "LIBERATED" DON'T WANT US THERE ANY MORE!!! But our moron president can't get it through his pea brain, so he continues to murder and torture our soldiers and innocent Iraqis every day!!! The blood is on his hands now, and in feeble attempts to save face, he pleads with the OTHER ignorant majority of spineless and senseless and conscienceless Republicans in the House and Senate to continue to throw money at a huge inferno!!!! How many lives will we continue to trample on by DOING NOTHING??!! How many more of our dead servicemen and women will come home in coffins until we are affected enough to throw this ignoramus and his cohorts out of office, once and for all??!! Do we have the fortitude and integrity to do what's right, or will we continue to be idiots and let these people trample all over our rights and our Constitution??!! What's it going to take, people???!!

The war in Iraq did not end on 1st May 2003. This was the date given by Bush

The occupation is likely to continue on for a while, and it seems the war will also continue. 14 permanent military bases have been established in the country to fuel U.S. soldiers. Hundreds of billions of American citizens' dollars have been spent on the war, while American corporations are making many millions from being in Iraq. it's unlikely that this war will end if Republicans remain in office.

President Bush declared "Mission Accomplished" in May 2003, but obviously that wasn't the case because they continue to say "we will stay until the job is done". Not many people are exactly sure what that means.

Not Officially, however the fat lady has already sang. The American/Iraqi War was over when the American Military personnel started breaking down on the battlefield. The troops are just stress-out to the Max. No one prepared the troops for this war, and maybe no one could.
The problem is, how long is it going to take the civilian leadership to have mercy on our military and bring them home?

The war on Iraq will never end until most they all are killed or destroyed. they fight because of we do and how we are living our lives. they hate freedom. this is not just the terrorist nor just iraq. its all of them and the only ones who are on our side are the wemon and some men. this war will never end they will just keep fighting till they get there way. Id say just ship the wemon and children and some men who ARE LOYAL to the US and bring them here then Nuke Iraq. that way the terrorist have nowhere to hide.

Yeah, don't you remember the President flying in on a jet with a gigantic banner that read Mission Accomplished? $h!t, that was, like, two years ago.

I mean, it's over-- right?
