And abuse you if you do not agree with them?
Is this an exclusive site... Is it cool to ignore presence of others? To assume that they should not have perspectives radically differnt that yours and that you might have something new to learn?

My Opinion Is,
Some People Haven't Learned Yet,
Never To ASSUME.!
I Stopped Answering Anymore Question,s That Are Negative
About American,s Or Any Other People,
Why,,
They Aren't Going To Listen,
Some I See Just Like To Be Rude,.
Simple as that!
They Already Assumed.( made there decision)
Or Like To Ruffle Your Feathers, As They Say.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Peace.

We assume everyone is American because they have the following International Yahoo Answers:
United States United Kingdom Canada Australia India Spain Brazil Argentina Mexico Italy France Germany Singapore Taiwan South Korea Hong Kong Japan China
Recently, I wanted some answers exclusively from Germans, so I sent a question to the Yahoo Answers Germany site.

They assume everyone on here is just like them. They don't stop and think that this is on the WORLD Wide Web. They have a small concept of the scope of the Yahoo web site. There is no way to make them understand that everyone across the whole planet can access this page. All we can do, is hope that some day, they will mature enough to know that they are not the only ones on this planet.

It bugs me too and I answer as if they assume I am non-american. Eg a question is what is the cheapest state to live in? I answered it with Quintana Roo in Mexico. Or what state is the best to live in and I answered Victoria in Australia. If they don't say they are American I never assume to be an American. BTW I am not an American
Actually this is the English language Yahoo board as they are merged together not the American one

Different perspectives should always be accepted. It's those who distort the truth or blatantly lie who get to you a bit. If an argument or point cannot stand on its own merit, don't try to give it any life support by twisting and turning the facts.
Unfortunately, some people are closed to acquiring wisdom through the exchange of ideas (meaningful ones, that is).

Um... probably because you are answering on the AMERICAN Yahoo! Answers site? Try scrolling all the way to the bottom of this very page, and pick a different country to whine in.

Are you new to Y!A? If so, you will quickly learn that most Americans are very opinionated, and can sometimes come off as obnoxious and rude, if you didn't already know. It's just the way we are. Sorry if it offends you, but Americans are used to this kind of dialogue. We like the drama.

I assumed everyone was either Canadian, American, or English because everything is posted in English. I don't try to answer questions in Yahoo Japan.

This is the American board, but I don't think you require a visa.
Actually, I take that back. I clicked on the British flag and got the same questions. I guess they are grouped by language, but the flags below are kind of misleading.

I understand your question but I'm confused because I thought this part was questions concerning the Military.
And I'm a American and I don't care where you are from or what color your skin is cause we all hurt and bleed the same.
