My Grandpa has rented the house he lives in for almost 20 years and has been a good tenant. He's almost 80 years old. Now his landlord suddenly wants him to move out because he wants somewhere for his hired help to stay. That just doesn't seem right to me. I don't understand why he should have to live the rest of his life somewhere that is not really home to him. Does anybody know if this is okay?

If the Constitution gives the right of persons over 18 to vote, then one would think that at 18 a person gains responsibilty. And at 18 anyone is eligible to go and die for their country. Then why would the drinking age be set at 21? Are the 18-20 years olds not responsible enough to drink, but yet can go and die for their country and have the right to vote?

I was looking for a courtcase on something that involved my infant and found the case, but do not understand the process. I copied and pasted the information. I don't know what an initial pretrial is, etc., and do not understand since I was the one that made the complaint, why I haven't been called as a witness. Do I have anything at all to say about this case. This happened in Texas.

Please read on for more information.

A pitbull killed a 1 year-old boy recently. The officer in charge of the case was interviewed and said that this was a docile pitbull, one that was not trained to fight. This officer, who also stated that he is a father of 3 children and owns a pitbull himself, said this was the worst assignment he's ever been on.

What do you think of pitbulls? Denver and Toronto have already banned them.

I used to work for a company that is now being sued by a client. I offered to testify for the client because the company is guilty and lying about it. The problem is that I have now moved 300+ miles away from where the court will be held. Now they want me to appear in court. They contacted a friend by telephone and she passed along the message, they dont know where I moved to but I am supposed to call them in the morning and I know they will want to have me served to appear in court. The problem is I have a one person office at the moment and if I go I will have to close down for 2 days at least. It will also cost me money in gas and hotel and food that I dont have right now. (The friend that I could stay with has company so I cant stay with her) Do i let them serve me? I will have to tell them where I am. Do I have the right to not tell them? If I go and close down my office it could cost me to lose a sale on my commission only job and I cant afford that. What are my rights?

i mean with all the illegal imigration stuff going on we should make sure that every American has an opportunity to get a job (unless of course they are criminals). Then we can consider employing outsiders who can LEGALLY work in the US.
Never employ illegals

As in what the Florida Supreme Court did and

What the United States Supreme Court did.

They went back several times and there were many cases in other courts as well.

I am a bit confussed about why the Florida Supreme Court ordered a statewide recount so near the drop dead date when the Presidential Electors had to be chosen.

What was the main reason given for this?

This is for a term paper.

My parents have been fighting a roach infestation for months and their ladlord would't do anything about it, so they hired an exterminater. should the landlord have to pay for the cost? Or atleast take it out of the rent?

Why is it that when someone kills others with a gun, the immeadiant thought is to "Ban all guns today!". But when someone gets drunk and kills a family of 5 in a Mini-van(which occurs much more frequently), no one even dares considering banning cars.
