when i saw this question i had to laugh. i expected it to be something like "oh, poor saddam, why dont we just give him life in prison?"
I propose we force him to live with michael jackson for the rest of his life. Not even death is scarier

Burying him alive is too much manual labor for a man like him. Hanging him only requires someone to kick him off his feet.

I say keep him alive. From what I understand the prisons in Iraq are anything but humane. And just think of all the enemies he's made who will be there with him!

He's being executed just the same. I think the Iraqi government should hang him as planned. They should prove that they are better than Saddam's government in that they are more humane. Thus, they can take the moral high ground. Besides, being hung is not what Hussein wanted; he wanted death by firing squad.

First he needs to be camel raped , have some plyers and blow torches working on him, tied to a bus and dragged for a mile, then rolled in salt . Then dip him in honey and give him some time with a bear, then he can be thrown in new york with a sign that says i hate *******, ****** up there for awhile then make him eat that statue he has of himself. Then after that cut his balls off and make him eat them, and have him walk naked through the streets as we throw darts at him. Thats just half the day, i dont have enough room to tell u about the rest.

Cuff him in some awkward position to a bunk bed and pull women's underwear over his face. Have a police dog bite him a few times. Get him nude and make a pyramid with him and other prisoners. Have them simulate having gay sex. You know... send him to Abu Ghraib.

Why do you want to make him a martyr?
Keep in in prison until he is old and feeble.
Put him on TV - and televise his insane diatribes.
Make a mockery of him. Make him suffer for decades.
Killing him is too humane.

Nah, I say they should do what he did to the Kurds, except tell him it could happen at any time. He deserves some fear. OR....they could just drive him up to the area in the north that he bombed, and push him out of the car. That would be fun!

Tie him to a stake, disembowel him and burn his bowels as he watches, cover him with pig grease so he will be defiled on his death. Then just let him die, while playing a recording of his crimes.

seriously--as others have said, any execution will give him pride as a martyr.
