Believe it or not, PRESIDENTS HOOVER & EISENHOWER DEPORTED
MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS SO AMERICANS HAD WORK! Here is something to pass
around. I did not know of this until it was pointed out to me. Back during
the great depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation
of all illegal aliens in order to make the jobs available to American
citizens that desperately needed work. And then again in 1954, President
Dwight Eisenhower deported 1.3 million Mexican nationals (called
"Operation *******") in order that returning American WWII and Korean
veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 years, but they deported
them. If they could deport the illegal's back then, they can sure do it
today!! If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, just
type Operation ******* into your favorite search engine and confirm it
for yourself.

you have to understand that we are responsible for alot of what has happened in central america. we might be different countries but our policies here influence the quality of life over there. as long as they are poor they will come its human nature. maybe we should consider trying to solve the problem with a number of different actions rather than just sending them home. its easy for us to judge them, but if we were in their shoes you wuld do the same thing too.

My sister is going through the process of legalizing her husband. I am not exagerrating when I say she's paid more than $6,000. She started the prcess in 2004 and she just recieved thier final packet. Plus she'll need more money. This is for just 1 person can u imagine a wole family?Plus, you have to have someone legal in the U.S to sponser u. A lot of peolpe dont have anyone. You can't wait and let your family starve to enter legally. I guess thats why some people do it illegally. If the government wants to legalize they've got to make it simplier and faster.

Sheriff Jim Pendergraph first noticed the changes in his jail population early in the decade, as illegal immigrants from Mexico and other Latin American countries poured into Charlotte and elsewhere in Mecklenburg County, N.C., to find jobs in the robust North Carolina economy.

In Butler County, Ohio, Sheriff Richard K. Jones became so frustrated with the swelling population of undocumented suspects in his jail a couple of years ago that he symbolically billed the federal government for his incarceration costs and posted a big yellow sign near the jail reading: "Illegal aliens here."

Pendergraph and Jones are part of a growing national debate over how to handle undocumented criminals, a debate that's flared anew with the arrest of an illegal immigrant in the execution-style slayings of three college students in New Jersey.

Criminal aliens, as the federal government classifies them, constitute more than a fourth of the inmates in federal prisons. Those still at large often fall between the cracks of an overburdened and uneven enforcement system, escaping detection and deportation.

More than 300,000 criminal aliens are expected to be placed in state and local jails this year, according to a forecast last year by the Department of Homeland Security's inspector general. Most might remain in this country after serving their sentences because the federal government lacks the resources to identify, detain and deport them, the audit said.

The suspect in the Newark killings, Jose Carranza, is an illegal immigrant from Peru who was out on bond on assault and child-rape charges. Authorities said they were unaware that Carranza was in the country illegally, largely because local policy prohibits officers from questioning suspects about their immigration status.

Newark is one of dozens of cities with "sanctuary" policies designed to keep local law enforcement officers from racially profiling suspects...

That stupid court. It does not get it. You want the so-called illegal immigrants to be legal. I want you to come right out and say you are racists and use the immigration issue like criminal politicians do. Oh! darn that Supreme Court. They just don't get it and so many people respect them and "THE LAWS" thatt so many racists respect but accidently forget to mention when Mexican immigration comes into the picture. Oh, what's wrong with picking and choosing laws anyway. Everyone does it. Some ppeople even shackup when they are not married. Shame.

Is America a miracle country where you have the right to life liberty and the persuit of happiness. Does something miraculous happen where a person sets foot on American soil? Is America above and beyond other countries that do not support freedoms?
Do Mexican's have title to rights in USA that that Russia does not have in China? It is time for some Americans th face reality. Mexicans are here. Deal with it on a civilized level. If you think that abusing them is civilized or will serve any purpose there is a political position for you in Botswana.

The people who believe the Un has no pwer has no faith in the power of the people. The UN members are going to vote in the direction that they feel will do the most for the most without physically hurting anyone in the process.
Example: The UN votes that Mexico has rights in USA going back hundreds of years. Politics has blurred their rights but the right are still there. What country is going to vote that the USA physically throw out Mexicans. Dream on. Then when the UN votes that Mexicans have rights what do you think the Supreme Court of US is going to do? Dream again. Some racists are living in a dream world.

Thousands of illegal immigrants, including West Indians, have been granted a temporary reprieve when a United States federal judge prohibited the Department of Homeland Security from carrying out new rules to crack down on their employers.

The ruling in the Federal District Court in San Francisco has dealt a legal setback to a central part of the Bush administration's effort to increase enforcement of the immigration laws.

Judge Maxine M. Chesney also ordered the Social Security Administration to suspend a mailing, scheduled to begin Wednesday, of about 140,000 letters to employers advising them that some of their employees' Social Security information did not match the agency's records.

The U.S. government said illegal immigrants often apply for work with false Social Security numbers.

The mailings, known as 'no-match letters', were going to be accompanied by a two-page notice from the Homeland Security Department advising employers of the new rules, which give them 90 days to fire any employee who cannot show valid Social Security identification, or risk civil and even criminal charges for knowingly hiring illegal immigrants.

New rules

The Bush administration an-nounced the rules in August, which were expected to take effect on September 10. Judge Chesney has scheduled a hearing on the matter for October 1.

The ruling came in response to a lawsuit filed Wednesday by the national labour union, AFL-CIO, several California labour groups and the American Civil Liberties Union.

The suit argues that because of errors in the Social Security Administration's database, many Caribbean-born American citizens and other legal immigrant workers could be dismissed because of the new rules.

The suit also claims the rules could lead to widespread discrimination against these workers.

Last week, Caribbean and other immigrants were given another setback when the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that immigrants with green cards without expiration dates must immediately replace them or face penalties

Let me tell you where I stand:

1. This country belongs to the English - are you with me so far?
2. You dont and cannot become 'English' just cause you happened to be born here. To be English, your parents must BOTH be English, and there parents before them. Only white anglo saxon people are and can ever be English. Got that?
3. It makes me laugh on job applications where it asks for ethnic background and says 'packistani British or afro-carribean - british or african-english: WTF!
Are you willing to let England go, cause I am not.

MEXICO CITY — President Felipe Calderon blasted U.S. immigration policies on Sunday and promised to fight harder to protect the rights of Mexicans in the U.S., saying "Mexico does not end at its borders."

The criticism earned Calderon a standing ovation during his first state-of-the nation address.

"We strongly protest the unilateral measures taken by the U.S. Congress and government that have only persecuted and exacerbated the mistreatment of Mexican undocumented workers," he said. "The insensitivity toward those who support the U.S. economy and society has only served as an impetus to reinforce the battle ... for their rights."

I am a european who try to set up an investor's visa in USA. I have an american business bank account. A lawyer told me that it's illegal to earn money without hiring an american person. But I want to hire when I have enough work for him, not before. My business is a web site where people will pay using Paypal. Can I start to work alone and people will pay me using Paypal, then I won't transfer the money from my paypal account to my business bank account, until I hire 1 person. This way, technically, I won't earn money on my american business bank account but I will develop my activity. Is this possible?

The truth is that illegals will take any jobs they can get..

You can be educated and skilled and lose a good job and have to take any job you can get in the US unstable economy. At least for a time. Many people have been through it. Illegal populations are much higher in some places like in the southwest and they are more competition for "any" jobs there. And black americans and hispanic americans are the most affected by competition with illegals for the "any" jobs.

So I think we can can call this a myth. And say that there is a real problem with this and that some US citizens are really hurt by illegal immigration.

I don't have an answer. I do know that it will not be solved by big arrests and deportions of illegals or building a wall on an imaginary line. Those are simple minded ideas that appeal to some people on an emotional level. And to hate on illegals is bad and stupid.

Any ideas for this?
