All of them should be deported. I am always amazed when people defend criminals. Illegals often times don't have licenses to drive and have not been trained to drive and they don't have insurance. They continue to break the law and some people just don't have a problem with it. I just don't get it. Why do we have laws again?

I knew when I read the article yesterday and it said 12 people in the van from a temp. labor place what it would be. To be honest I'm surprised they actually reported they were illegal....that's not typically PC here. But that is so so common here. No license, no insurance, no seat belts, not legal. That's why they don't want seat belt checks or any stops what-so-ever because being here illegally isn't the ONLY thing they do wrong. Will be interesting if they follow through and find out how many stolen identies are in the mix and who the employer is. But in this case......the employer won't be nailed because they can hide behind the temp. labor agency because that's their job to screen them. They left that out when they are trying to punish the employers for hiring. We have a temp. labor place at about every strip mall around here and all their signs are in Spanish only and they're all in cahoots with construction and other companies. My husband went to one and he was the only person who wasn't hispanic and the only one who didn't speak Spanish. He went to various places and there wasn't a single person who spoke English and alot of these things he never did before and couldn't even ask basic questions of a fellow co-worker. Didn't take long to figure out these places were a means to keep the illegal, cheap labor flowing for these companies.

This I55 is a major headache as it is.....without people who are unlicensed and uninsured. And to think this is also a major route for trucking and the multitude of new Trucks comming from Mexico will be out in the mix as well.

That is not a good reason, many people do not carry insurance that are legally here, so that is not a good reason. Just the plain fact that they didn't get here legally is the reason that is all. NO other reason is valid, they should get here legally and then if they get into an accident that would still not be okay if they didn't have insurance and it is not okay for anyone not to have insurance yet many people break the law and drive with out insurance. So get here legally before you break the law and it goes un-noticed.

Until everyone does their homework and stops "answering from their gut" you will not get a good answer to this question. I have done extensive research on this topic. While one answer talks about "immigration is necessary to the economy" there is no proof of that; plain and simple. Did you notice he didn't mention "illegal" immigration? However, you did in your question. You didn't ask about all immigration, just illegal. That is what people do. The lump it all together, and you can't. Please people, do your research. Stop buying into the left's BS about illegals fuel our economy. That's just crap. Stop listening to the media, track your information sources (follow the money) and you'll start to get some straight answers. And remember, there is a huge difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL...
For the record, I am neither left nor right...I AM AN AMERICAN...Sheeple, pull your heads out!

Why do you people insist on putting links that no one wants to read? ANNOYING!
It is the governments fault that there is so much illegal immigration. If they would hire more people to process applications quickly, then this wouldn't be an issue. YOU should look that up instead of these ridiculous links. I can give you many of crimes done by Legal US Citizens!

OMG.. A bunch of idiots answer this question with comments that this is a Crime.. it was an ACCIDENT. How many Drunk Drivers have caused fatalities on the roads everyday. I dont see your idiotic comments on that. Buidling walls on our borders.. What another Germany?? We were there taking a wall down to build another one in America.

The illegals probably could not read and understand the traffic signs, (merging, speed limits) so the accident happened.
This raises the auto insurance of everyone in the Chicago area due to the illegals who do not have auto insurance and the hospitable care that is needed for the injured. So we are all paying for them to live here in the USA.

Well, I see by a few of the answers, Geraldo is here.
Simple: No illegal immigrants, this would not have happened. One poster said accidents happen everyday. That is true so lets get rid of a few that shouldn't happen.

One of two things.

They should shoot and kill this illegal Immigrant on the spot, he has NO right, rights are for CITIZENS of this country.

At the least the should put him on a cargo plane and air drop him back into his own country.

Oh, let's not forget all the illegal aliens currently doing time in American prisons (paid for by John Q. Taxpayer) for drugs, rape & murder. This is just another example of why we need to build a huge fence between Mexico and US; patrol it heavily and shoot anyone who attemps to cross.
