MEXICO CITY — President Felipe Calderon blasted U.S. immigration policies on Sunday and promised to fight harder to protect the rights of Mexicans in the U.S., saying "Mexico does not end at its borders."

The criticism earned Calderon a standing ovation during his first state-of-the nation address.

"We strongly protest the unilateral measures taken by the U.S. Congress and government that have only persecuted and exacerbated the mistreatment of Mexican undocumented workers," he said. "The insensitivity toward those who support the U.S. economy and society has only served as an impetus to reinforce the battle ... for their rights."

We have to say 'We give the illegals the same rights as Mexico does theirs.' That will shut him up!

The two Border Patrolmen and the Texas Deputy Sheriff would not be doing time if it were not for the interference of the Mexican Ambassador to the U.S. It is documented fact that illegal families use more than $19,000 in Government services than they contribute in taxes. The illegal Alien is a multi billion dollar a year industry to Mexico, a country run by crooks. The fault is with both parties. They say they can't deport 29 million people. How do you know till you try. Homeland Security picks them up all day long. Start small with a few hundred a day and then increase the volume to a few thousands a month until you get the last one of them. They are criminals. They have broken our laws. I am a retired Police Officer from the Ca. Az. Mexico border I turned them over to the Border Patrol everyday. Sometimes the same one twice in the same day. Cut off Government funds to sanctuary cities. It is a violation of the U.S. Code to aid or abett an illegal alien. It is a violation of the oath sworn to by every Police Officer not to enforce a law that requires them to turn over an illegal to the Border Patrol. It is called an act of omission. Additional: What do you think would happen if an American went to Mexico and said "here I am, so here must be America also, and wave the American flag.

Calderon's philosophy is to encourage the poor and underpriviledged to go to the land of plenty the 'good ol' United States.
That way the economy will go up in Mexico and of course the income in the United States will go down and all the wealthy in each country will have access to cheap labor because American citizens will have to compete with cheap labor and ad nauseum, and the working folks of the United States will suffer the consequenses of Republican President Bush and President Calderon.
This situation would not be present if this Republican President Bush/Cheney and right wingers of the Nationalist Republican Party would have secured the border between the United States and Mexico.
Thanks

Listen up U.S. The Mexicans have already invaded our borders and it will be only a matter of time before they take over Arizona, New Mexico and California. Then they will want those states annexed to Mexico. Of course, they will still want to suck the U.S. government teat for free housing, free food stamps, free medical care and free education.

It damn well should.

I mean, all nations should look out for their nationals in other countries; we all have embassies. But the Mexican economy is propped up a couple of hundred dollars via Western Union at a time. The US economy isn't the one being supported by undocumented, illegal aliens. The average illegal household uses more services than they pay for in taxes, and is a drag on our government:

He has allot of nerve opening up his yap over the way things are done in the USA. Why doesn't he fix his own country first,he can't even handle that.Sounds like he wants us to give "special treatment" to the people of Mexico only. Why would he think he can govern the rules of the USA? Who gave him that impression? He is a jerk.

True that the US took it from Mexico but that is by far long gone in the past. He can't handle what he's got down there and now he wants to blame the US for their economic problems. What does he want, we gotta give him a job too?

He is playing a traditional Mexican political game to gain support of the anti-Gringo faction in the Mexican electorate. It consists mostly of the poorer segment of their population.
