you have to understand that we are responsible for alot of what has happened in central america. we might be different countries but our policies here influence the quality of life over there. as long as they are poor they will come its human nature. maybe we should consider trying to solve the problem with a number of different actions rather than just sending them home. its easy for us to judge them, but if we were in their shoes you wuld do the same thing too.

Finally someone w/ a point. It makes sense.
As long as you have a Mexican or people in El Salvador and Colombia making $5 a day and jobs for them in the United States in which they can make exactly the same amount of money in just 40 minutes or one hour, they're gonna keep on coming. So it has nothing to do with politics. It has nothing to do with the war against terrorism. It has everything to do with economics, with the law of supply and demand. As long as we have unemployed people in Latin America and jobs for them in the United States, they're going to keep on coming. So it has nothing to do with individuals. It has to do with both governments, the United States government and Mexican government.
How do we fix it? Like this.
Two things. We have to provide legal status to the 11 million undocumented immigrants living in this country. And also, there has to be an immigration agreement between Mexico and the United States. Everything part of comprehensive immigration reform, we need that right away. But nothing is happening in Washington.

Your basic idea is so very correct but that is the problem...... it is complex. Much of it has to do with the fact that most don't have a view as you do. The media, a lack of understanding of history, cultures and human nature pretty much assure that most others don't.

Do you realize how many billions of dollars were spent during the 80s and 90s. Countries freed and dictators deposed all without a declared war per se. American lives lost. Organizations like the world bank, WHO and the UN offering gobs of money if benchmarks were met.

Eastern Europe had rallies and had change plus the money. Other countries in the world had a leader for change and garnered world attention so things did change.

So it makes me think. If they went home where there are so many resources to be exploited rather than just talk about staying in america..... then there would be a leg to stand on.

Sending residing house 20 million human beings won't sparkling up the problem. yet making all of them legal electorate will in basic terms make the problem worse. Be reminded that those that don't remember historic past are doomed to repeat it. it is what we are gazing if we legalize each physique who's right here illegally. we've completed it a minimum of thrice earlier and each and every time the quantity has doubled form the time previous, so dealing with the present set of rules, if we legalize 20 million ill eagles now in 2 a protracted time we could have 40 million greater. So what's the answer? i do no longer understand if there is one, yet we ought to start now to a minimum of decrease the matters. So what are the matters? the genuine subject is the Mexican government is encouraging there under served underclass emigrate to th U. S. This serves 2 purposes, One it generates the inflow of u . s . a . money into their financial gadget. And 2 it gets the great inhabitants of discontented hundreds in another u . s . a . so as that they do no longer revolt against a central authority so corrupt it does not opt to alter the status quo, because of the fact this advise human beings could comprehend purely how nicely the Mexican financial gadget can certainly do, and those government respectable could get thrown out on their asses. So we ought to build the fence. we ought to enforce the border. we ought to end letting the Mexican government from making use of us as a tension launch valve. If we try this the loads could actually upward push up and do something. by creating the fence and imposing the border, i think it won't purely help us, it is going to tension Mexico to handle the basis of its issues, particularly than purely dumping them on us. however the fence is the 1st step. no longer the rest could be completed until the border is resonably safeguard. So now Amnesty, no artwork application, until we've a secure border. as quickly as the border is safeguard we are able to enforce our rules, we will not ought to deliver each physique residing house, many will bypass away on their very own volition. Then we are able to handle the matters handy, what to do with those nevertheless right here. yet i do no longer have faith the government to fulfill its provides, they have not contained in the previous, So build the fence, then we are able to communicate.

well first amigo we were in their shoes once in 1775 when we kicked the british out and started our own country by the sacrifice of many anglo lives. You ever hear of Valley Forge? Then we have World war 1and 2, Korea, Viet nam, and lately Iraiq. Anglos fought indians, mexicans at the Alamo and whipped butts at San Jacinto and went thourgh a depression. Mexicans want the fruit of our labor without the sacrifice amigo. Its time to shut down the border completely and send the illegals home. ole

Let's say I accept your premise that the government of the United States or the military or rich business men were responsible for Central America as you say. Why should I be the one suffering for it? It makes no sense to claim the poor and working class have to suffer a loss of their jobs and Americans in general have to suffer ID theft, etc. because of what some rich militant politician did. Two wrongs don't make a right.

It won't solve the problem but it might make it better. If your talking how America is bankrupting farms through latin America, with it's subsidize grains and modern farming technique, it's better for their country if we don't have cheap labor. We are shutting down Mexico's Corn farms and Central AMerica's rice farm with our cheap foods. If we didn't have cheap illegal immigrant labor, food prices would increase, and Farms from Latin America, can far more easily compete agaist us. As for Military problems, we might have some involvement, but it's still mainly their fault. We might give them guns, but we can't make them shoot them. Besides do really want people who's country is rife with violence. They would bring some of their old grudges here.

Sending them home will not solve the problem. They try aggain soon after they get dropped off in Mexico. They don't spend long in the NPC about three to five hours if there are no hits on them.(felonies / warrants) By the way I also think that your thinking "our policies here influence the quality of life over there" is incorrect, I think it is way to make an excuse not to better one's own country.

The fallacy with that line of thought is that the situation was perpetrated on us as much as on others. It was not at all done with the US worker in mind. Being the victims of that, we aren't about to 'take responsibility' for its outcomes. If we must, so must the other countries' citizens take responsibility for thier own governments outcomes, and stay home.

This has nothing to do with my ideas for a solution, but I don't buy that argument, at all.

One more guilt-ridden blame-America-first member. No offense, but most of central and south americas can be laid at the foot of their cultures and political systems. Mexico, in particular, is basically a country run for the benefit of a handful of families. The US had nothing to do with this, nor are we likely to ever effect change there.

Most Americans do not care who comes and who goes here, but do it legal. We are fed up with paying higher taxes for property, higher insurance because they do not have any.It is all in the law of the land,if you don't think it is,go to Mexico and break their law and see what happens, you will wind up in prison so fast, and our prisons are a picnic to theres. What I am trying to say is everyone has to abide by the law,and the law says they have to be a legal citizen.Yes,we have to send them back, and close our borders for illegals. Why do you think they are called illegals? Most of them are going to show us they don't have to live by our laws,we are losing america because we are afraid we will offend someone,I'm offended when my wife and I both work and struggle to make it,between taxes and insurance on everything it is a struggle.also look at the money sent out of this country everyday back to mexico, for $500 a month you can live good in mexico,so people quit being so soft before it is to late.
