Why not send illegals to 6 weeks of basic training and then on to Iraq or Afghanistan for 18 months? After all, if they want to be American citizens, shouldn't they be expected to support the USA? When they return after performing meritorious service, then consider giving them amnesty and citizenship. Why wouldn't this work?

Also how is it exactly a bank can issue"credit" to them? Kind of really begins to also answer the question of what the real reason was behind the huge push for "amnesty". THINK!!!!!!

"A partial license plate description of a gray van seen in the alley around the time Zina vanished led police to Terapon Adhahn, 42, a Thai immigrant who was convicted of incest in 1990."

Btw, he was subject to deportation in 1990 because he's an ILLEGAL, and fell through the cracks of the system.

Fox and MSNBC also said the police are looking into other similiar crimes to see if this pervert was involved.

Your thoughts?

Should these people be deported, even though their children were born here. Or should they be allowed to stay and care for their children? Or should they all be deported together, because of the illegal actions of their parents?

I know the immigration bill did not pass, but, Barack and Hillary voted against the amendment to the immigration bill demanding deportation of felons and child sex offenders. Seems like they agree with what happened in Washington State today. What do you think about the actions of these two "candidates"?

ok I filed an I-190 form for my husband to be an american citizen. Meanwhile his visa is going to expire august 1st and we don't know what we should do. If he leaves the county to apply for a new visa it can take up to 6 months meanwhiule i will be here alone without enough money to support paying for everything. I cannot go with him because of my job and position. Is there any loop holes in the system that will allow me to get him an extension on his visa ( his company will not give him an extension ) ? what are our options?? I have contacted immigration many times about this but they will not offer me any information or help except go back to his own country until he gets a new visa. Please guys help us we don't have much time before the visa expires.

I am a mechanical engineer residing in Abu Dhabi having a total monthly salary of AED8,600. Will I be able to sponsor my husband for a residence visa in Abu Dhabi? He has a residence visa in Dubai sponsored by his company and would like to transfer with me rather than me going to Abu Dhabi and giving up my work. I am not sure if engineers are also included for those women able to sponsor residence visa for their husband (teachers, doctors and nurses are those I know). If I can, what steps and requirements I have to follow?

The problem is that my real mother wants me to fix her papers as well when i turn 21 because that's the legal way to do it. I wrote "real mother" because she wasn't the one who raised me it was my grandmother. And i heard that in order to fix the papers of someone after you fixed somebody elses, you have to wait 5 years. Is that true??... please help, what should i do?

Why is the US Immigration more strict on giving out visas to countries like Mexico, Philippines, Vietnam and other 3rd world countries than they do with countries like Australia, England, Italy etc?

seriously though..

If we get rid of our millions if illegal aliens.. who will mow our grass, pick our fruits and vegetables, work at wal-mart. etc..

who will do the work that we Americans are too lazy to do?

our economy will not benefit from it at all. they are hardworkers who provide cheap labor..

Overall, your quality of life goes down in the US.

Your health declines. It's proven that hispanics in the US are of poorer health than new arrivals.

Also, you work yourself to death. The average American works over 50 hours a week and gets a lousy amount of paid vacation days.

You spend less time with your family, more time in traffic, more time at work, and you eat much worse quality of food. You're much more likely to now be a victim of a crime, to be involved in legal troubles due to excessive laws, or to be diagnosed with cancer due to the poisonous lifestyle.

Your entire lifestyle changes for the worse.... all that just for a job? Is it worth it?

Employers feel heat on immigration

Phoenix - Arizona leads the nation in population growth. More illegal immigrants cross its border than any other in the United States. Now, in an apparent backlash to those trends, the state is leading the charge to halt illegal immigration by cracking down on employers.
