How many times do I have to see people standing out side a prison holding signs saying the death penalty is wrong when the guy inside killed some little girl or some teenagers working in a fast food place . When do we start saying the rights of the dead and their families matter more than the rights of the killers .
It use to be that we would hear about some child being killed 2 or 3 times a yr in the country now it is almost every week . Close the borders and bring back the electric chair . If they know they are going to suffer before they die maybe they will think about what they are doing before the rape another little girl .

Just four years after the Department of Homeland Security launched Operation Predator, an initiative aimed at those who sexually exploit children, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced today that its arrests had topped 10,000.

More than 8,600 of those arrested as part of the operation have been non-citizen sex offenders whose crimes make them removable from the United States. As of today, more than 5,500 have been removed from the United States.

According to the above - 4,500 predators who were already arrested are still living in the USA . Why? Have the other 5,500 who were removed from our country come back through our open borders?

People in general who do that stuff are monsters, but I don't understand why they aren't dealt with in a proper manner when they are here illegally, preying on our youth? Why is he still in America if he is a illegal Thai convicted Sex offender (19) years ago. He should have been deported after getting out of prison, even a legal immigrant faces deportation for major criminal offenses!!

Yet another reader sent me a great bad math link, This one astonishing nasty slight of hand, and a great example of how people misuse statictics to support a political agenda. It's some one named"Dr. Deborah Schurman-Kauflin".in an attempt to paint illegal immigrants as a bunch of filthy criminal , lowlifes. Its titled "Side of Illegal Immigration: one Million Sex Crimes Commited by Illegal immigrants in the United States"
After conducting a 12 month in-depth study of illegal immigrants who committed sex crimes and murders for the time period of Jan 1999 - April 2006. It found that the U.S. public faces a dangerous threat from sex predators who cross the U.S. border illegally..
Based on the population numbers of 12,000,000 illegal immigrants and the fact that it is mostly males make up more of this population than the general U.S. population, sex offenders in the illegal immigrant group makes up a higher percentage, When Examining the reports and public records, it is consistent to find sex offenders comprising 2% offenders apprehehded, Based on the 2% figure, which is conservative, there are approximately 240,000 illegal sex offenders in the United States.
That is the meat of her Paper:

So her argument is:

1. Of the illegal immigrants arrested for a crime,2% were Sex Offenders
2. The total numbers of illegal immigrants is approximately 12 million.
3. Therefore, you can determine the number of sex offenders in the entire populationof illegal immigrants by multiplying the size of the population (12 Million)by 2% equals 960,000.

If you pay attention to the numbers and how she's trying to slip them past, pretty obvious what kind of scam she pulling.

Here's the trick. 2% of the convicted criminals who happen to be illegal immigrants convicted of some kind of sex crime, NOT 2% of the population of illegal immigrants, the population of convicted criminals is quite different from the population of people as a whole.

So,looking at real statistics, the percentage of illegal guilty of sexual crimes is proportionate, not particularly different from the percentage of non-illegal guilty of sexual crimes.

In summary, Dr. Schurman-Kauflin is nothing but another two-bit racist who's trying to convince people using bad math.

Based on a one-year in-depth study, a researcher estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each. That included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants. It found that while the offenders were located in 36 states, most were in states with the highest numbers of illegal immigrants. California had the most offenders, followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Florida. It concluded that based on a figure of 12 million illegal immigrants and the fact that more of this population is male than average, sex offenders among illegals make up a higher percentage than offenders in the general population.
"This translates to 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders coming across U.S. borders illegally per day," says
Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta.
She did a one year study of 1500 cases.

Of the child molestations, 47 percent of the victims were Hispanic, 36 percent Caucasian, 8 percent Asian, 6 percent African American and 3 percent other nationalities.In 82 percent of the cases, she noted, the victims were known to their attackers.
"In those instances, the illegal immigrants typically gained access to the victims after having worked as a day laborer at or near the victims' homes," she says. "Victims ranged in age from 1 year old to 13 years old, with the average age being 6."
Not only were victims raped, she said, but some – 6 percent – were mutilated.
"The crime scenes were very bloody, expressing intense, angry perpetrator personalities," she said. "Specifically, most victims were blitzed, rendered incapable of fighting back, and then raped and murdered. The most common method of killing was bludgeoning, followed by stabbing."
She found it especially disturbing that in 22 percent of all sex crimes committed by illegal immigrants, victims with physical and mental disabilities were targeted.
The highest number of sex offenders, according to the study, came from Mexico. El Salvador was the original home to the next highest number. Other countries of origin included Brazil, China, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Russia, and Vietnam.
Nearly 63 percent of the offenders had been deported on another offense prior to the sex crime, the study showed. There was an average of three years of committing crimes such as DUI, assault or drug related offenses prior to being apprehended for a sexual offense.
In 81 percent of cases, offenders were drinking or using drugs prior to offending. Rapists and killers were more likely to use alcohol and drugs consistently than child molesters.
Only about 25 percent of offenders were found to have been stable within a community. In 31 percent of the crimes, the offenders entered into the communities where they offended within two months of the commission of their sex offenses.
But many, 79 percent, had been in the U.S. for more than one year before being arrested for a sex crime. They typically were known to the criminal justice system for prior, less serious offenses before they molested, raped or murdered, the study said.
Schurman-Kauflin concludes illegal immigrants gradually commit worse crimes and are continually released back into society or deported.
"Those who were deported simply returned illegally again," she says.
She points out that only 2 percent of the offenders in her study had no history of criminal behavior, beyond crossing the border illegally.

"There is a clear pattern of criminal escalation," she said.

It's far past time this escalation is brought to a screeching halt. Secure our borders and deport permanently.
