Overall, your quality of life goes down in the US.

Your health declines. It's proven that hispanics in the US are of poorer health than new arrivals.

Also, you work yourself to death. The average American works over 50 hours a week and gets a lousy amount of paid vacation days.

You spend less time with your family, more time in traffic, more time at work, and you eat much worse quality of food. You're much more likely to now be a victim of a crime, to be involved in legal troubles due to excessive laws, or to be diagnosed with cancer due to the poisonous lifestyle.

Your entire lifestyle changes for the worse.... all that just for a job? Is it worth it?

I agree with you. Do not forget that Georgie Boy and his sidekick Cheney are trying to take away what freedoms we have and reinterprets the constitution as they see fit. I'm for moving to Canada.

The U.S, just like any other country, has its upsides and its downsides. You pointed out the downsides very accurately, but you have to account for the good aspects of life in U.S too, like a strong economy, the diversity of cultures and places to live, and a style of life that in many ways is envyed and copied by most of the world. Plus your lifestyle is what you make of it, no matter which country you live in. If you think that the lifestyle of the average american is poisonous, e.g people eat too much junk food, you can choose a healthier menu. If you dont want to work 50 hours a week, you dont have to, you can live on less money. If you think that in states like texas the law is too tough(as I do), you can move to another state with softer laws. In Europe, you get a more laid back lifestyle, better job stability in trade for a stronger economy. It's all a trade-off

And ultimately, if you are an immigrant in the united states, and you regret moving here(as many do) You can move out to another country since it will be easier to get a visa anywhere else in the world being a U.S citizen

Some of USA's politicians might be corrupt, but compared to other countries, their leaders are 100x worse. People are not gonna take that kind of treatment from government. In some countries, the government is so corrupt, they rule every aspect of a person's life. The person has no say, has no chance of getting ahead in life. There's no decent jobs available that pay a fair wage. So any job here in the US is good for them. Some people just happen to have the resources to get out. Some unfortunately dont and live in oppression.

People dont migrate here just for jobs, some come because it is a better life than where they originally come from. Why do people come here from Cuba on rafts knowing they have a high chance of dieing in the ocean. They want to get away from there governments and have an opportunity to change their life for the better. Also they will have the freedoms here that they cant get any where else.

yeah you know what? you're right.

the thousands upon thousands of people that migrate here on a daily basis must all be full of it and have no idea what they're doing.

I think I'm going to quit my job and move to Mexico to be a pig farmer, and drive my 85 datsun pickup to the witchdoctor for my check-ups.

you know, the lavish life that all those idiots leave behind for America.

Are you nuts?

Why don't you move to a third world country and see if you change your mind? See how you like living in poverty, without clean drinking water, under an evil dictator, under the threat of your life, infectious diseases (AIDS, malaria), etc.

America is the best country in the world! It may have problems, but they are nothing like to problems of many, many countries!

Stop hating America, you spoiled child...

Quality of life goes down, where are you coming from?

Health declines, where is the "proof" you speak of?

Work yourself to death, I thought Americans were lazy and that is why we need all the illegal trash to come here.

Excessive laws, which ones?

But please pass this on to any dirty border crosser you know, maybe they will buy it and stay home.

Please promote that idea in Mexico!
Lets face the facts. The reasons for their decline in health is because they don't have to work as hard, get less exercise, and eat more. Especially sugary soft drinks.

Oh how about freedom and the chance to make something of yourself with hard work. Hmm and how about our low low prices and great selection.

Hey but we're the enemy right, I mean big bad america tricking all those people into coming here

Yes, but we have the freedom to chose our lifestyle and don't have the tax burden that most countries have. That speaks volumes.
