Just wondering,

That minority is a non-white nminority,
that minority is being used by other minority's agenda.
But however, both minorites are minorities among the majority that is reflected as minority by the media manipulated by the other minority who uses the forst minority to spread anti-Mexicanism using the excuse of Immigration.

with countries that don't pay fair and have issues with human rights?Instead of sanctioning Sudan, why don't you sanction Mexico and China? Both countries receive yearly complaints from the US government about human rigths and yet you keep dealing with them.Do you think people will be risking thier lifes to cross the border if they had reasonable life in their own country?Do you think buying/manifacturing goods in this countries by US knwoing the people don;t get fair pay contribute to illegal immigration? And at the end - why Cuba but not China?

Just in case you haven't noticed Asian immigrants, well with the exception of that Cho fellow, have been adjusting pretty well in the USA. Currently they have the highest household income of any group even whites and Indians have the highest household income of any single ethnic group. Roughly 65k a year.

Does anyone think that's why we're suddenly overly concerned about immigration? Hispanics are having a lot of babies. Will America be overpopulated with Hispanics? Don't snap at me, it's just a question.

K, the type of immigration the U.S. is disturbly concerned about is the Hispanic immigration. There are numerous reasons for that. Americans want America to consist of mostly white Anglo Saxsons. There's a fear that the Hispanics are taking over America. There are record numbers of Hispanics here now that are making demands (social services, Spanish everywhere, separate communities, separate schools, etc). Hispanics are having babies in record numbers and the cycle continues (whites are not). Should America consist of mostly Hispanics??? Will the dominate language be Spanish? What about English?? Will Hispanics out number whites? What will our country turn into? That is why the Hispanic immigration is a concern in America.

In Australia we are soon to impliment the "Australian Residency Exam" which for us is a very simple multiple choice test, to determine an applicants knowledge and dedication to our way of life in order to gain Residency & Citizenship. I think it's a great idea, just like a "driving test" to determine their suitablity.Some of the Qustions are as simple as;

1) The colours of Australias National Flag are:
a) Green & Gold, b) Green, White & Gold c) Red, White & Blue d) Red & White ? Answer c) Red, White & Blue.

2) Aboriginals have inhabited Australian mainland for:
a) 1000 years, b) 10,000 years c), 20,000 years or d) 40,000 years ANSWER d) 40,000 years.

3) In Australia Men & Women are considered equal in all aspects of life ?
a) True, b) False, c) Not sure d) Never ? Answer a) True.

Pretty simple and a way to ward out undesirables after a six year Qualifying period.

I am now in Canada and there are many illegal aliens in my area, how can I report to the proper agency and then the government can do something about them, like deportation and whatever

before entering the USA we will require non US-Muslims to fill out a questionnnaire on where they have traveled for the past 5 years and require them to sign a statement that they should not hop over to another state without the permission of the INS.

This will allow the Government to keep tabs on their whereabouts. Please note that this is profiling and may appear to be racial in nature but its not. We must take all steps necessary to mitigate against an attack like we did with JFK the other day.

C'mon, they are extra eyes and ears on the border. They don't engage or detain illegal border crossers. They have no authority to do anything. They are simply an organized group of people who feel the same way that a majority of Americans feel. Why are so many illegal supporters angry with the Minutemen?
Why aren't they angry with the countries that illegals are fleeing?
Why aren't they fighting corruption and exploitation of people?
They pick on volunteer border observers instead! ...ridiculous...

In class we have been having these debates about immigration and immigration issues. Some people say that illegal immigrants cause problems, and that they should be kept from moving into the U.S. I say that America should make legal immigration easier, under the knowledge that people come in anyway, and are often honest workers. I think that if the laws were a bit looser, people wouldn't think it IMPOSSIBLE to come into the U.S., and then come in legally.
Any other opinions?
Support?
Rebuttal?

The questions and comments on the immigration issue are so racially charged. Why not tolerate these people who came here to get a better life?

Yeah, this is America, and I am proud to be an American. I am also proud to have an open mind and learn about people who aren't like me.

But why Mexicans? What is it about them that causes these "Speak English - Love It or Leave It" reactions? Is it all about money (sponging off of us)?
What is it about immigration that causes such a strong, negative reaction for you?
