the bank of america stopped all production, in as little as 8 days i was unemployed and in trouble most of the other people went back to the USA but not having much time to fix my wifes INS papers we visited the american consulet in guadalajara mexico they would not help me get my wife to the USA they said maybe in 2 years, THE problem was her family was thinking i was just another american looking to have a good time and leave their girl, no matter who we asked the answer was no, MY choice leave my wife homeless or take her home, after some time in the USA i called the INS to ask what to do, the lady i talked with said she must go back to start the process, so after this much time the family of my wife had seen that i was for real and i took her back, after returning i called the INS office the same lady now said i'm sorry but now your wife will be under a 10 year bar for leaving the USA,(CRAZY) can some one in this world help me, i have an approved I-130- INS says is just paper.

I'm a native of Los Angeles and married to a Canadian. Our 10 month old son is now is a US citizen and we just got his Canadian citizenship. Two questions: Will I be able to keep my naturalized US citizenship? Second: What is Halifax Nova Scotia climate, culture, people, weather, restaurants, family, school life like? I know these are huge questions, but we are daydreaming about being closer to our family in Newfoundland. Plus we cannot afford the housing in Los Angeles. We love the water and definitely cannot afford a beach front home. Thanks for your feedback!

Didnt we used to lead the world in education?

What was that dumbing down thing? Who decided to make the tests easier instead of making us learn more? Who's in control of this?

Maywood it the LA town CBS is made up 50% of illegal immigrants, where they took down the US flag and put up a Mexican flag at the post office last year.

Since Nunez is 'passionately' pro-illegal immigrant, I wondered if this was connected. Also, Nunez is putting a measure in the ballot to extend his term (applicable to all, but he's the one, with Peralta, who want it in the ballot.) I'm trying to figure out if there is really a police problem I hadn't read about or if this is due to the police and illegal immigrants locking horns.

"The 28,000 residents of Maywood – a small town of just over one mile square that proudly proclaims itself 96% Hispanic – are experienced at defending themselves from oppression. The "Maywood revolution" began last fall, when residents rose up against their police chief, who routinely had used roadblocks to confiscate the vehicles of undocumented immigrants and sell the cars for public revenue.

The more stories I read about Justice Department charges against our Border Patrol the more I believe that they are under instructions to oust any Border Patrol agent who does his or her job.

"...Border Patrol Agent David Sipe, responded to a disrupted motion sensor to find between 12 and 15 illegal aliens crossing the border. Most of the illegals followed the agents' instructions and surrendered, but several attempted to flee, running into a patch of tall dense reeds...., In the course of making the arrest, Mr. Sipe struck one of the border crossers, a Mexican national named Jose Guevara, in the head with his flashlight. He said it was necessary, but the U.S. Attorney's office said it wasn't. In 2001, Mr. Sipe, who had no previous complaints against him, was convicted for using excessive force, and dismissed from the Border Patrol.."
