They are imigrants like the rest of us and that " I was here "first bull is something you hear on a childs playground . The fact that settlers came and took land is just the way things were done all through history . What my great great great grandfather may have done to someone elses great great great grand father doesn't mean I owe them anything . All the supposed " Natives " deserve is the same opportunity to apply for a job as anyone else.

If illegals pick all of our produce as you pro-criminals say, are they poisoning our lettuce and spinach supply?

E-coli breakouts.

There was a study done on Mexican food restaurant Salsa, the majority of salsa tested (from different restaurants) had traces of e-coli, which is found in feces people!!!

and Mexicans arent nasty right?

I hate to admit it, but I usually pay attention to the federal, and to some extent the state legislative races, but not to the 'trivial' city council and board of supervisor races. This year I am going to take the time to research where people stand in the local races. From Maywood's prohibition of traffic tickets so's not to catch illegals, to Hazelton's strict anti-illegal immigrant laws, I have learned that the LOCAL politicians are very important.

Cook County IL, (including Chicago) is about to vote on being a sanctuary city, and the proponants of that motion think it will pass easily. I used to live there, and I'm telling you, people relied on Daly and didn't pay much attention to anything else.

Will you pay attention to local elections in voting, now? And has the illegal immigration issue made a difference to you in this?

John Howard recently said, he welcomes immigrants if they can offer something to the country, however they are not prepared to change anything to accommodate them......i.e the way we bend over backwards here and cant even fly our flag. Do you think this should be the case for the UK?

"These measures will:

-- Provide more border patrol agents

-- Strengthen security through fencing and additional infrastructure

-- Make enforcement stricter at our borders

-- Enhance state and local law enforcement authority

The time to address this border security emergency is now - before Congress leaves for the November elections.

House Republicans' "Border Security Now" September Agenda

Strengthening Security Through Fencing and Additional Infrastructure

-- Secure Fence Act: Authorizes the construction of 700 miles of reinforced fencing along the southwest border. Mandates that the Department of Homeland Security achieve operational control over the entire border through a "virtual fence" that employs cameras, ground sensors, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Provides the necessary authority to border personnel to disable fleeing vehicles.
