Within the field of immigration, lawyers specialize in different things. The best immigration lawyer for what kind of case?
By the way, most immigration cases don't go to "trial," there are administrative hearings.

Immigration is not a trial, so you don't need or want a trial lawyer. At most it is a hearing in front of a judge. There is no best by the way, it depends on the circumstances of your case, the judge either finds for you or the government based on facts, not lawyer style. There is no jury to sway. Look in the yellow pages and find a lawyer that specializes in immigration law. You will find, however that most of them aren't that great.

All depends on What state you are in and what kind of hearing you are going to. I used a very good one in CA. he only does Immigration. go see a couple of them and ask questions. abot them. make sure they only do immigration, ask how long they have had their law firm what kind of cases they do etc. Not all of them can handle a hearing of any kind a lot of them only take cases they can win and chage way to much money. and remember they are lawyers..
