Fine, but the rule is, if you capture one who is legal, you have to spend a year in Columbia.

That would be a great idea! Technicaly, anyone err citizen can place one under citizens arrest, but you better be sure the are here illegaly, or it will be you in custody for unlawful detainment. Also I doubt most law enforcement officials would have the balls to do anything because of fear of reprisals and political pressure from many who are not even citizens themselves, or are family of "illegal" aliens. By the way, I bet that applies to the guy that called you a moron. I wager good money on that ! The key is "illegal" immigrant or aliens and why does Mexico have so much tougher imigration laws than the U.S. and enforce them more strictly?

I don't need incentives to do the governments job. There are thousands of men and women" working " to rid this nation of the interlopers. We are out numbered but much more dedicated than any one that would be monetarily
rewarded. You are being flip or trying to be funny but its a very serious problem . The fence, okayed by congress is a small start but only a mild distraction to the hordes of illegal immigrants crossing our borders daily in the southwest..No to any blanket amnesty
Deportation not legalization for criminals.

Oh nothing could POSSIBLY go wrong with an idea like that. I mean, every day ordinary people obviously KNOW who they are and where they live and who has the right visas and how long they've been here and whether their visa conditions have been met. That certainly won't degenerate into a grab-bag of racists flying about harassing anyone who doens't look vaguely white or middle-class. (thats what we call burying the needle on the sarcasm-o-meter)

If you absolutely know of someone who has overstayed visas or should not be in the country you just politely tell immigration - capturing people like some kind of witch-hunt by the deranged masses is ... insane.

We should have it every day.... hell with the trophies, give the captor all the illegal aliens possessions, or what ever is left over after the cost of deporting the criminal illegal alien.

We need to elect some people in November who have the cajones to do right by the American citizens and send their behinds back over the border on the first bus out! This is becoming increasingly ridiculous that they have broken the law and we can't find a way to get them out of here.

U are an idiot. Many of these 'illegal aliens' are the ones building up ur economy and that is exactly why the US govt wont kick them out.

We should by all rights have that day every day; we already pay for it so no reward is necessary. Law enforcement should make it a bigger priority to help the illegals find their way home.

History never stops repeating itself does it? Have a nation wide witch hunt eh? How in god's name would you know who was and wasn't illegal? Just based on your instinct im presuming. It would be complete and utter chaos, no doubt.
