if your a US citizen, (in good standing) and you marry someone from another country that person has the right to stay in the US. you should really contact the imigration office in your local area

Talk to an immigration lawyer, but I have a suspicion with all the new homeland security rules and revised requirements for marrying for citizenship, you'll have to join him in Mexico if you want to be with him. I don't think he'll be able to get any visa if he's already been denied one for criminal reasons. You can't just marry for citizenship anymore. Some people wind up waiting 10 plus years after getting married before they're even allowed a visa to get into the states, anymore. If they do let you, you're responcible for him financially and legally for something like 7 years, and if he gets into any legal trouble while he's here, you'll be held part responsible.

Did he commit fraud using his credit card? If not then he simply must dispute charges that were not his. Did someone steal his card and use it without him knowing? If yes, then the Credit card company should be willing to close his current account and issue him a new one while the charges are being researched.

If his credit report has been tagged as having committed fraud then i am afraid no one is going to want to give him credit for anything.

Are you sure you want to marry someone who's financial situation is such a mess? I hope he isn't using you for some immigration scandal.

Whether citizen or not. You need to put yourself into perspective first. Once you learn who you are as an individual, the question will be, 'Why am I wasting time with someone with a criminal pattern'?
If you choose not to slow your roll. Then, I suggest you either visit him in Mexico or move to Mexico and work together to solve the indifference's that has occurred.

I guess the last thing America wants or needs is to bring people here with a criminal past. I am wondering if the fraud resulted from him using an identity that was not his to live illegally in the US.

He doesn't have a chance in heck of getting a visa if he has a criminal record. I would say move on or move to mexico, it is about the only way you can be legal.

Accused of fraud or committed fraud????? Are you sure he is telling the truth? Are you sure he really loves you? Are you sure that maybe he's not using you (to get married) to get into our country?

Good luck and be careful!!!!! I would say this situation you're in is a big, red flag and I would look into this whole thing before you make any more commitment to this guy.

I don't know about US immigration laws but anyone with a history of crime shouldn't be let into a country knowingly. It doesn't make sense. He has to proove somehow that he'd never do that again and not be a criminal but right it's doubtful he'd be let in the US or Canada.

once denied a visa for fraud the USCIS may not issue a visa for getting married. get a immigration lawyer and ask if you can petition for him. also find out if he is baned from the u.s. and for what length of time.

Get a U.S. citizen boyfriend, or move to Mexico.

Fraud will keep him from being a U.S. citizen.
