Immigration - August 2006

There were 11 or so Egyptian guys that came over here on student visas that did not show up to attend their classes, turns out they actually wanted to come and visit family. So now they are "wanted" , photos are out and they are trying to located these guys because now they are "illegal". So why in the heck do we let all of the other "illegals' stay?

I support here 100%.If I was in her shoes I'd do da samething. I respect her cuz she is fighting for da right to be her wit her son no matter wat da cost.She is doing wat so many illegals r afraid to do. she is showing da courage dat she has for something that is right.I believe dat now so many more will stand up to da government after this

I believe some schools may already do this, but what would happen if school districts set up a sort of correspondence or business relationship with schools in Mexico and South America to encourage learning business English and for the purpose of donating new or used books in English and Spanish. When I was there years ago, it amazed me how few books there were in a public elementary school. The same goes for used computers. That way, future LEGAL immigrants could move to the United States later IF they wanted to, with more preparation, and those who stayed in their country of origin would be better prepared to work with international businesses or run their own.

The emperor Hadrian (AD117-138) determined that the frontiers of the Empire should stay as they were when he succeeded. In some cases the frontiers were on rivers, such as the Rhine, Danube and Euphrates. Where no natural barrier existed, artificial barriers were constructed. In Germany, between the Rhine and the Danube, this was a ditch and timber palisade, with attached towers and forts. In Britain the wall which bears Hadrian’s name was built slightly north of the Stanegate “to separate the Romans from the barbarians” in AD122."

It was 15 feet high, and had forts called milecastles (housing garrisons of up to 60 men) every Roman mile along its entire length, with towers every 1/3 mile. Sixteen larger forts holding from 500 to 1000 troops were built into the wall, with large gates.

It lasted until into the 5th century. While it did fall when the Empire did, what came after was the dark ages. This wall like the one we need was to keep people out, not in.

Do you really think that there is anyone that is coming up for election that will do anythingto get our illegal immagration problem under control? Remember who it is that gets elected to office,(regarudless of party) both sides want to give amnesty,and will do nothing to control our borders. The elections are coming up, start speaking up, and actually do something now, or shut up.

Have you ever pictured yourself being in a land with no other life form except natives. and you had to cut your way through the wilderness, dig up trees, to plant your crops. isolated from the rest of the world. because we had different religious beliefs,political views. had to start your own government, elect officials just completely start over not knowing what the hell is to come. but you didnt lay down and die. you pulled yourself together and did it. when all this was accompliuhes they wanted to take it over ( england ). But we fought them and won our independance. when we stepped off the ship they didnt give a damn whether we lived or died. we overcame and in 200 years became the superpower of the world. Because we had the ancestors that didnt take no shitt from anyone. we built this country from scratch and i will be damned if i will hand our history over to illegal immigrants, terrorist whatever or whoever. if you want you will damn sure have to fight me for it. and i dont play

I do not have a problem with americans, I lived in the US for a long time and I never had any problems with anybody!!!! I really appreciate your hospitality, I left great american friends behind!!! should they all be repatriated to their country of origin since the childs a minor & should remain w/them. allowing them to return only when they have gone thru proper INS procedures? allowing the child back in when theyre of age to return legally on their own. since their parents have already commited fraud how do we treat them in respect to their application for citizenship now? allow it, or outright deny it?

think we should deport us citizens who knowingly hire illegals and strip them of theirs (citizenship) and make them go thru INS to regain it. it would def cut down if not eliminate or hey! lets elimidate them. fox new reality show. 2 US citizens date 4 illegals. then we throw in one INS agent into the mix. the one who marries gets their citizenship the ones who dont are arrested and deported on the spot! (unless they get pregnant sneak back over and have their babies here) its as good as any other reality show :o)

I can walk outside get in my car and drive across the country. without having to show traveling papers. I can own as many automobiles i want. I can also buy as much sugar and coffee as i like. I have the right to speak my mind. I can walk without fear of being shot from around the corner. by someone thats not even from my country. I can make friends and not worry about what i tell them. Im not worried about being persecuted for my religious beliefs or political. I can eat whatever i want. I can go to school where ever i want. I love my country i will fight for it i will fight for our people . And i will do whatever i have to do. to keep any foreign or domestic terrorist from changing our way of life. in other words i love my country. the usa. Hamburgers, Hotdogs,fried twinkies, frech fries, (yes made in America not France)CornDogs,etc.etc. That is what the whole world thinks of the all American foods. Isn't that bad? Illegal immigrants get benifits not even American citizens get. They remain are pretty much unchecked. Emergency rooms are shutting down buisnesses are practicing "sweatshop" style practices with them.

If you had the ability to make the decision, how would you solve the immigrant problem? I am talking ALL illegals, not just one kind.
