and I never will ,but you people do as you want I am only speaking for this one American...Me

I agree with your logic and I hate to think that there are some people who are against the American people - especially when we do so much for other nations when they have a disaster - and they do not help us at all!@

What I see most often is anyone who is not a republican or a Bush supporter is accused of being anti-American. Anyone who is questions the presidents methods for combating terrorism or even the war in Iraq itself is aiding and abetting the terrorists. We are supposed to all rally around the flag and our president. We are not supposed to question the methods used by the government in the name of national security or investigate the constitutionality of those programs. They seem to think that the president should have unlimited power to fight this war on terror, the bill of rights be damned. They want a leader who doesn't have to answer to anyone. The people who throw around the anti-American phrase seem to want Bush to have the same kind of power that Saddam had.

How approximately "like it Or circulate away It" to assert individuals are "Anti-American" is silly. that's like asserting i'm anti-climate only by way of fact i do unlike Hurricanes. human beings have comments on particular political matters. we are against those matters, yet no longer against the rustic as an entire...... Or, the excellent inhabitants that lives interior america. and additionally, you need to submit to in techniques that those men and ladies who're distant places protecting YOUR real TO SPOUT NONSENSE OVER the internet are from america. individuals. and that they're going to look after each human beings' rights in spite of which usa they are from.

I agree with Dar... and Eli is always making that statment, this is the United States of America or America the one and only. that is why every one in south of America is claming to be Americans they are not. You have to be a U.S. citizen to be an American. also all you have to do is listen to the liberal media to find out what anti- Amercan means they are always running down this ocuntry.

When your words and or deeds offer aid and comfort to the Enemy abroad and the Enemy within. Using the courts, using the media, joining a group that contributes to the Enemy war effort. Cindy Sheehan is Anti-American as an example or Answer.
Free Speech is a right but there are ramifications in doing that.
The Dixie Chicks have found out and can't sell tickets because of their actions and justly so. When at war the bickering should end at the waters edge. Bosnia I opposed the war, but I did not act out my frustration

Conservatives use it for anyone who's liberal or disagrees with the president.
Liberals use it to fight back calling them enemies of free speech.
I just think it's anyone who doesn't like America and is against it and its ideas. There's a fine line, though. I disagree with a lot of what our government has done but I'm not anti-American. I'm anti-Current Administration. That's all. It's a loose term that has turned insult thanks to the extremists on both sides in this country.

Well, anti-american usually kind of means rhetoric aimed at trashing out our country. As in 'america is the devil' etc. Remember, the United States is to blame for ALL things bad,
regardless of the fact that the negative occurrences might happen in some other place. The US is to blame for EVERYTHING because it is our 'karma' to be the world's *****, I guess...we should go ahead and colonize the moon...'cause this place is STUPID...

anti American would be anything said that is critical of the USA
its history, its people
simple really
most of the time anti American is just plain and simple jealously
just look at the rest of the world
has nothing to do with President Bush
and everything to do with our perceived wealth and material goods and medical and educational advantages
most people don't have what we have and hate us because of it

Eli, there is no continent on the planet named 'America'.
There are 'the Americas' and there is 'America', the country, United States of America, which is shortened to America just as United States of Mexico is shortened to Mexico.
Anti American means a proponant of philosophies or actions that are contrary to the founding principles and social beliefs of America. Definitely, there is dispute as to exactly what those are.
