Immigration - August 2006

You as American citizens may have to step up to the bat and go without a few luxuries you've grown accustomed to. You may have to give up some of those conveiniences for awhile. You may have to struggle a bit more than you already are. You may have to give a little to get a lot. You may not see or reap the benefits in your lifetime, but your grandchildren will. You may have to sacrifice much now for a better tomorrow. BUT... by doing so, America will still be here standing strong with a future of prosperity and freedom for generations to come. Would you give up, and go without whatever was necessary to protect the future of America? Would you stand by a President whom was willing to give up those expensive suits and porcelain tea cups for "We the People"? If he said our luxuries needed to be sacrificed to support the end of illegal immigrants, could you, would you?

So when it started in 1492 (October 12) and then it went on until 1777 when those who came first suddenly felt a shortage of space and started to shed their blood with so called their-former-roots aliens for our america (in accounting terms it sounds like FIFO - first in fight the others). So what was all the shedding of blood about and why blood shed at that times instils you with so much pride - it was the choice of then settlers after all - they didn't fight invaders. So may I infer that immigrants are not invaders??????

In a scene filled with theatrics and rhetoric, an anti-immigration activist from Los Angeles was barred from entering Sunday services at a West Side church where Elvira Arellano, an illegal Mexican immigrant, has taken refuge from authorities.

That's no church I ever heard of.

In the coming weeks and months, the immigrant rights movement will continue to debate legislation, tactics and much else besides. The voice of the grassroots activists and the left in the nationwide debates will be strengthened as a result of the widely attended conference in Chicago and the formation of the National Alliance for Immigrant Rights.

In 1893 US Congress almost renamed this country United States of the World?
I know many of you have never read a book, let alone know US history!
Why are you so afraid of different ethnicities , if this country is founded on multiculturalism?

Our history as "The United States" has been recorded from the begining in English. The voice of Abraham Lincoln,Martin Luther King,George Washington, and Benjamin Franklin was spoke and writen in the same language, and that was English.

Imagine a America where English was not the spoken word, now
imagine some one looking upon the Constitution only to see a foreign language , or listening to MLK " I had a Dream ", and not knowing what was being said.

I would immagine that if they wanted a better life, they would take steps to liberate the Mexican goverment of its coruption. Hispanic groups such as La Raza and MEChA preach hate and lies directed at the United states, they cliam it is in the best intrestof its people, but I would immagine that is they really wanted to help their people, they would protest aginst the Mexican goverment.

The Mexican goverment has the ability totake care of its people, but chooses to only feed the pockets of the wealthy Mexican families.
