Uhh...as far as I know all countries have guidelines for travel and immigration. There are many reasons why people cannot just willy nilly travel from country to country. Why should the United States be any different. The only problem is we have such a hard time controlling it..???

It happened in 1900 when we started immigration laws just like other countries, you do not have a right to go to any country and reside when you want, France has their name written on France, also Spain, England, shall I go on. The only time their was freedom of residence is when countries did not have the problem of governments and were still discovering the world. It no longer exists.

I agree that it sounds horrible to hear people say that they don't want any immigrants.... when you know darn well that their own ancestors were immigrants!

People DO need to stop and think about that before they say these things.

The main problem we are having, however, and why it's such an issue, is that so many people are coming into the country without filling out the proper paper work. They have babies here, and their children are citizens because of that. They work for cash and pay no taxes. They are poor, and their children collect welfare money that the US citizens have paid into for helping people who are here legally.

THOSE kinds of immigrants are cheating the rest of the citizens of this country. Understand?

We let in THOUSANDS of LEGAL aliens every year. THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS. Check with the state department and see how many poeple from around the world are allowed assylum in america every year.

The doors are not closed, there is a LEGAL way and an ILLEGAL way to get into the country.

If you break the law don't complain when they deport you.

Exactly! First they came and now their kids wanna shut the doors and leave everyone in their ancestors' shoes out! If this nation already forgot how it started out, it's doomed.
They got a pice of pie and don't wanna share it with anyone...and I thought this country was founded in Christianity...
In God we trust? Yeah, right! Devil-worshipping Nazis.
They let the terrorists in, but normal people? Hell no!

That freedom was bought and paid for by the millions of US soldiers that died throught out it's history fighting to preserve it,let me ask you what gives illegals the right to come into this country, because they screwed theirs so bad no one wants to stay there, use the benefits that US citizens have worked for all their lives, and then badmouth it after filling their bellies.

The American Indians probably thought the same thing when we came over here and took the land away from them.

YES: AMERICAN CITIZENS DIED for this Country NOT ILLEGALS. GREAT AMERICANS made the Ultimate sacrafice ro give this land FREEDOM. WALKING across a Border doesn't give you any RIGHTS. AMERICA IS BOUGHT and PAID for with Plenty of BLOOD and TEARS. NONE of which Belonged to ILLEGALS. GET IT? GOT IT? Good.

No one is saying that. We are saying if you don't want to do it legally, then don't come at all.

LEGAL is the way to go (or come, as the case may be).
