No she isn't. What the author said about Arellano was that she was/is the current poster child for the special treatment illegal 'criminals' are given. Nowhere did it say that she's the poster child for crime....wait, how stupid of me! In your case people coming into this country illegally to make a better life for herself IS a crime.

Once again, I don't see how she could be a criminal if all she did was commit 1 crime; that one crime being the Social Security fraud, her coming to this country illegally just so she can live a better life here instead is something I don't consider to be a crime because most of the illegal immigrants who come here are NOT criminals(even violent criminals), that's a claim brought fourth by ignorant xenophobes. She had a son in the US, making HIM a legal citizen. In that case, she should be automatically be made a legal US citizen or at least given a leg up on the long, drawn out process of trying to come here legally.
