I'm totally against Illegal Immigration and i would hope that the people of the united states of America would leave the children alone..This is a grown up problem that shouldn't affect the children, but with the way things are going..they will be picked on by other children..I have notice that the children that speak English are left alone and the children that cant speak English are picked on..and that's the parents fault...they should teach their children English..the schools had to bring in translators to help these children and the English speaking children see this as an opportunity to be bully's..

I'm the same (Hispanic and European).
I luckily lived in a very diverse neighborhood and [most] people were nice to me. However, I went to school with predominately white children, and when I was young (like elementary school) they were always a little surprised, confused, and interested at the same time. However, during middle and high school (I'm a junior now), people don't even notice my backgrounds really.
It depends on where you live really I think, but I would hope not.

the ethnicity of a child seems to play a very small factor in 1-8 year old children, but the older the child becomes, the more frequent discrimination may become. The main town plays a large role in this

Unfortunately in todays world this happens all to often. The BEST thing you can do is teach your children to LOOK Above those who would do this WALK TALL and Be proud of who they are. If you teach your children to WALK Tall and be Proud STUPID Insults Hurled by hateful people will simply Roll off like rain. Not ALL the world is full of hate. Your children will find Good friends and have fun.

I can't answer for young people, the jury is still out. For the first time in over 200 years they will have to make a decision to a serious and insurmountable question.
Do we want to have our own country, or do we wish to let foriegn nationals rule over us?
This of course is not the only issue but a fundamental one.

I should hope not. They are in the majority unless of course they run into someone whose ancestors came over on the Mayflower. I am second generation American, and no one ever mentioned it, or asked about it.

Depends where you live. US seems to be a chain of ethnic clusters and everyone is clinging to their own. So if you ever encounter a problem, you should change their school or the neighbouthood.
In most cases people are treated bad if they have an accent. Your kids won't have it, so don't worry.

If you are a U.S citizen, I hope not. My problem is with illegals, not Hispanics. I tend to go a little wild on here when the pro-illegal B.S. is flying. Sorry.
