not true they pay more than minimum wage

They pay above the federal minimum wage.
Does ACE hardware pay more than Wal-Mart.? Does the local grocerystore pay more than wal-mart? I Doubt it.
Local businesses can barely afford to pay minimum wage.
A lot of other places pay far less than what wal-mart pays.
Family dollar and dollar general come to mind.
A lot of dollar generals work their store managers 60-80 hours a week for about 600 dollars a week. They get almost no time off. And the cashiers get minimum wage. THe point is is that wal mart is not the worst place a person can work.
And if you look at the big picture, nearly ever retailer in the country gets their product from outside the US. Target, Kmart, Home Depot, Office Depot. They are all world-wide corporations.
One of the benifits to all the produt being made in china is that now China has to deal with all the pollution from the manufacturing. This is what we americans wanted isn't it. Clean rivers, air, pristine beaches and such? Also, wal-mart has provided good careers for those people who wanted to better themselves. They provide opportunities. Quit whining about wal mart already. they are good for the working class people out there.

I agree with perfect american, Walmart is by no means the worst place to work. I worked there this summer and in VA the average starting pay just increased from $6.40 to 6.65. My girlfriend worked at Walmart near Flemington, NJ and she started around the same pay. I admit, Walmart does some shady stuff. For instance, two of my coworkers (50ish couple) both worked 40 hours a week and took barely any money home b/c benefits are sooo expensive. But that's there choice. Companies aren't required to provide these benefits at all. Plus Walmart is quite reasonable if you show them you mean business. I know a retired gentlemen who started with $10 an hour as a cart pusher. That's $4 more than starting pay for that position but he earned it through his work experience. Basically, here's the deal. Walmart is like most companies... THEY WILL WALK ALL OVER YOU IF YOU LET THEM!!!

if you're a salaried worker you're paid a earnings and this suggests you artwork how ever many hours mandatory to satisfy your interest criteria. when you're an hourly worker and also you earn assistance, your corporation corporation can withhold the quantity they assume you'll make in assistance out of your hourly salary. If neither of those circumstances prepare, then you truthfully first favor to ensure what number hours you actual worked. Ask to ensure the payroll documents formerly you commence litigating. maximum small-claims courts (which it is) are extra expensive then the back wages are properly worth so this is extra constructive to target to artwork this out in-living house.
