Immigration - July 2006

I really don't get it, and i'm getting sick and tired of it. And I am being affected by it, mainly in the healthcare department. I am 24, don't have insurance, can't get any, and can't work. Luckily my parents are helping to take care of me, but that can only go so far. My medicines, dr's appointments, and tests cost well over $1000! I can't qualify for ANY medical aid, because I live at home, and my parents make an ok living.... on paper at least. Now I could go out on my own, go on different forms of finicial aid, but I choose not to because I don't want to "use" the governemtn, yet its my only option.

Its really not fair that I should be $100k+ in debt, not qualify for ANY assistance. How is that fair? I've paid taxes, I haven't broken any laws, why should my governemtn have to cater to those, that won't cater to themselves. Why can't they fight there governemtn, and make there country a better place to live?

I was reading some history and i read that some parts of usa belong to the Mexicans(Like Texas),and that for years,years,years,they have been fighting for their rights (This Land) and you know what is the interesting part,They will be the owners of this land,years might past but it will eventually happen..

History books leave some parts out,but come on if every thing was fought for and paid legally and it was a clean deal,as we say.why has it always came back to haunt America? something was not right, it was a dirty deal. and you have to admit that with all the illegals coming in,millions and millions in our future they will finaly have their land back,because it was stolen and it belongs to them. The thruth always comes out, know matter how much time passes if they are the true owners they will get their land back.

So Mexicans are real North Americans with all the rights to keep living in America, as their ancestors have done for ages...

Don't give me that crap to go read history(I have read them),I know that in no history book will they admit it was a dirty deal or that it ever belong to them..but if you put everything together it boils down to them being the true owners..

why dont they let ALL immigrants come to their country if its the promise land lol. (im not mexican) they make people suffer to come to their country, they are racist and let blacks live in poor neighborhoods, and the whites live in big houses. and it takes like 2-15 years for an immigrant to come to their country if they are lucky. is USA still a land of freedom? you tell me!!

I hate to know that I waisted 5 of my points asking a question about Wal Mart. I work at a corporation that is soon to be moving our jobs to Mexico. We have been an American company since day one. It was the hard working Americans that gave the company the backbone it needed and the dollars in its pocket. So why are so many countries running from America. If it is the richest country in the world, why leave? How can Americans afford to buy American made products if they have no jobs? Just pissed off thats all, no hate for anyone. Your opinion.

All these mexicans needs to calm down, and NOT overcrowd the other immigrants. theres millions of them, and they make the other immigrants UN-NOTICED, and theres plenty other countries that are poorer then mexico!

This is just an example, I ask you to consider it with wisdom. A large corporation with 1000 employees pays legal citizens $6.00 an hour, they realize that they can save 2 dollars an hour by hiring illegals to replace those legal citizens. Based on a 40 hour work week that is aproximately 1 million dollars a month, 12 million a year. There are companies out there that are benefitting at even larger profits than this example. Will amnesty change that for the better? 20 million people willing to work for 2 dollars less an hour. Who will benefit from amnesty? Will it be illegals? Or, will illegals be indentured servants to big business along with the rest of us???????

She surmises that the Government is not going to deport illegals, since they want them here ... business wants cheap labor etc. OK, I buy that ... so the question is, WHY is government not doing anything abour border security, illegal aliens etc? I think the answer can be found in their beloved Nafta+ plan, headed up by Condi Rice and Michael Chertoff .. which in its fruition will mean free flow of PEOPLE, goods and services from Mexico to Canada ...their reasoning being why should they spend money on something that will have to be demolished in a few years time? Does anybody really believe that our Commander in Chief couldn't have our borders secured if he wanted to?? They do token deportations, mainly of criminals, talk about Nat Guards .. pay lipservice to what is needed ... but no real action! If and when this plan has become reality, there will be no more independent U.S. ... good thing is of course that Americans will be able to go and live in Canada .. hmmmm ... :)

Instead of shelling out all this money to stop people from coming here, why not go to the source. After all they are not "our" people so why should we have to pay to control it. What the U.S. should do is start holding the country the people are coming from accountible. Countries like Mexico could be crippled without our economy buying there goods so I suggest imposing embargos and stop trade with these countries until they get THEIR problem under control. What has Mexico done to stop this? Have they done ANYTHING? The only problem with this is making sure they solve the problem humanely, otherwise it would create a whole new set of problems. Does anyone agree with this? I am open to criticism as well.

Why is it continued to be thought anyone who does anything to hold anyone accountable that is a set back to anyone in the country illegally that's it's always America's fault and everybody is a racist or else the illegal wouldn't be in any trouble and wouldn't be getting deported and green cards would be issued upon demand and on the spot is how some of these people think it should work. I wonder just how much money do any of these people who want the illegals here , actually send to any of the charities in Mexico and what are they doing to help make the country better place instead of always laying the blame on America and expecting America to shoulder the burden of problems the country of Mexico it's self created them because it's a lousy country. Why aren't the pop stars,movie stars people with any kinda of stradom in Mexico doing any kind benefits like Willie Nelson does with farm aide why aren't they holding any "Poverty Aide Benefits".

I am rewriting a previous question because I came off as a racist which I am not. I simply stated that I have experianced racism first hand. I got spat on and had rocks thrown at me by little 3-5 year old mexican boys at a park. All I did was say hello to them because I thought they were cute, and they lashed out. My question is why such young boys would do that to a girl? Is it their parents who bring them up this way? if so, than what is to become of the youth of our nation, what fate do your childeren face? people need to take action and teach their childeren peace if this country has any hope.
