Here are my views on it, and I was wonder what other people thought.
1. Iraq held less threats then Iran/N. Korea, while there was speculation that Iraq had WMDs it is common knowledge that Iran/N. Korea do.
2. With the idea of a lasting ground war, tribal factions, religious differences, how did the administration, ignore (?) or did not take into consideration that a civil war may insure. (Pentagon screened the movie "Battle of Algiers" Before the war started... if you have not seen it, check it out)
3. Iraq was contained. While it abused its own people and the food for oil program, it had no where to go, no terrorist network. If you use the argument "well they were bad people" then why no help out those nations that truly felt the oppression of genocide.
4 I have no problem with the war in Afghanistan. there was a link between their actions (or lack there of) but Iraq just seemed personal and vindictive.
So what is your view?
