The sheeples will ignor all advise and turn round at the end and say how could this have happened?

Other countries warned the us of Planned attacks, your govenment chose to allow it to happen to achieve their own agenda.

Americans don't understand their own denial!

I expect the hysterical cries of "The Muslims are coming! The Muslims are coming!" Have you learned nothing about the world? Can you not see the obvious manipulations of the U.S.-U.K. intelligence community in these bogus "terror alerts"?

Gee, whadda ya know, it's time for a midterm election and George Bush has a 30% approval rating --- and here come the Muslim hordes because they "hate our freedoms"!

Grow up. The American government spends over $500 billion a year on defense, over $60 billion a year on intelligence. That's more than the rest of the world combined. That sound you hear is not a billion Muslims strapping bombs to their chests. That sound you hear is the American military-intelligence complex prodding the stupid citizens who pay for it. They've got plans for martial law in America, and you people are prattling on about Islamofascism.

The first 9/11 was an inside job. The next one -- probably in the next two months, just in time for the elections -- will also be made in America. Open your eyes and see the real enemy.

911 was an intelligence failure brought about by wrong headed ideas that terrorists should be treated like criminals rather than enemy combatants. When you pass mandates which prevent your intelligence and law enforcement agencies from sharing data you open up Pandora's Box. I do not place blame for 911 on anyone directly, it was just a result of bad policy. However, we should have learned from this, but apparently some of have not. This is evidenced by the number of people still trying to hamstring intelligence gathering efforts. I believe in the right to privacy, I believe in the protections on search and seizure concerning American citizens spelled out in the constitution, and I believe in the right to be free of government oppression. I do not however extend this protection to foreign terrorists. If we do not get serious about security we are not going to have to worry about rights anymore.

I don't know if this is criticism of the government or not. Before 911 did you think that terrorists flying planes into buildings was a possible scenario? I never would have thought that would happen. Should the Department of Homeland Security prepare for an attack from flying monkeys? The people who are in charge of such things do there best to prepare for everything they can think of but they can't think of everything.

Yeah that's a touch stalkerish besides the indisputable fact that that's rather useful to renowned trolls and income perception on human beings right here. such as you're an average Angel, what does that mean besides?

Considering some of the people on yahoo!, yes.
The fact is anything is theoretical. Whether it is practical is another mater. In theory James Bond and can walk on water, save the world, and get laid by the end of the movie, In the real world, life in Mi-6 is rather borring. In your thought proceess, Patsy Ramsey shoulld expect someone to muder her kid at Christmas in the basement???? Or by the same token We should expect a mad man in San Fransico to run over peole with a car on purpose?? Sorry, most of us don't wake up in the morning eating our Egg Mc muffin's thinking, "hey I think my kid will put on a trench coat & shoot up the lunch room?"

There is lots of things you can imagine. Doing something practical about it is something else. 20 years ago nobody thought Ryder trucks were anything more than a rental truck........ Not a yellow death machine on wheels.

Not a problem at all. There is a little too much imagination spewed around.
This and any other country would never imagine that terrorist would crash planes into buildings. If that's the lack of imagination you are referring to. Now that we know what kind of killers they are, we can make adjustments. It does make it harder for the terrorist though because we don't trust them. The liberals want to, but thank God conservatives are protecting even them.

9-11 happened because Clinton purposfully dismantled our national security apparatus. Unfortunately, when Bush took over he was slow to undo the damage and the terrorists walked right through that lack of vigilance.

The thing to understand is that what Clinton did, he did ON PURPOSE. Read former FBI director Freeh's book for much more detail as to what he did and what the result was. Clinton went so far as to punish law enforcement that brought proof of terrorist plots to him.

More like, Bush was on vacation and *whine* didn't WANT to talk about National Security *whine* I want to clear brush and look like a cowboy

I swear they want us to be attacked again b/c that's the ultimate way to scare the sheep (ie people who voted for him twice) into keeping his buddies in office.

No, it was the inability of the FBI to put together all of the information.
