Keeping peace?What the hell kind of question is that?The USA has never kept peace, it just starts wars then lets other people finish them.

I don't. The nations of the world make up the United Nations. The nations of the world have failed in keeping peace among all nations.

The world is at war, not just in the middle east, in Europe, and Africa. Meanwhile the UN presides over programs like Oil for food which should have been "Cash for Kofi". Israel is under constant attack and the UN is unable to stop it. Saddam invaded Kuwait and the UN was unable to stop it. Hezbollah attacked Israel and the UN was unable to stop it, in fact by they may have caused it by dealing with Hezbollah giving it recognition. The UN certainly did not stop the attack on the World Trade Center, Pan AM 101, or Madrid. It did not stop Saddam from gassing the Kurds.
If the UN is so good, why not go into Iraq and help stop the violence?

The United Nations is like a toothless lion,it looks and acts fierce but in reality has no bite..It can not enforce its own decrees and demands,so its of no value.

The UN is useless since nations like the US, Russia and China will never agree on military action against nations friendly to one of thier own. And since it takes all nations agreeing to do anything but write a strong letter, they have no use any longer
They either need to clean house and come up with new operating rules or disban.

I agree..we could desire to constantly purely fund a army to guard commerce. State Militias are suited for conceal. What which skill is we would now not have the skill to be the Worlds Police and The Dems and Rinos might in no way supply that up no remember how they could desire to trample your freedom and Liberty.

I believe the UN is a TOTAL failure. It will never succeed in keeping peace with the members not co-operating for their own reasons. Many of the reasons involve MONEY. Many of the members are bandits in business suits. They should wear masks. I, as a US taxpayer, resent any part of my money going to the UN. I have been for the US withdrawing from this den of thieves for many years now.

The UN is an abysmal failure in socialism and the US must leave it now and ask them to leave NY. Its history is record and only a blind person cannot see the self-serving corruption in the UN.
