Why do people expect the "government" to step in and make their lives better for them? I don't get it.

The government is for the people and by the people. So people must learn to shoulder their own share of legitimate responsibilities, first. Blaming others, is indeed, a very bad habit.

well simply cause the government runs just about everything and lets just say they dont run it very well..they are basically in it for the money not for the people and thats obvious thats the way its always been and the way it will always be.

I don't understand why people think they can? like they can be everywhere all the time, if thats the case, why don't we just put cameras everywhere (bathroom, kitchen, car etc.)
